I received the Philips Avent Anti-colic Bottle 4oz 1pk as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel when my son was 8 weeks old. He's currently liquid formula fed, so I use small bottles like this one to feed him. The box that the bottle came in was nothing special. It was brown and looked like it m...ay have been made from recycled material. It wouldn't be a box that would catch my eye on the shelf, as it didn't show what the bottle looked like on the inside. The package comprised of a cap, a nipple, a lid, and a 4oz bottle. It's a short, wide bottle, which is much different than the bottles that I currently use. It's clean looking, clear, with minimal writing on the bottles. I was excited to use it and work it into my bottle rotation, but quickly noticed that it would have to be treated a bit differently than my other bottles. As it is short and wide, the mouth is wide, which was a challenge to use in my bottle warmer. I didn't have a cap to place on the bottle so that it could safely be placed in my bottle warmer. Therefore, I had to place the bottle in a mug with hot water, and monitor the temperature myself. Every morning I prepare the bottles that I need for the day and place them in the fridge. As these bottles are wider than my current bottles, they end up taking more shelf room in the fridge. The pieces come apart very easily, and are actually a much larger size than my other small bottles. The nipple piece is large, and the cap is also noticeably larger. This came in handy when I placed the pieces in the dishwasher. The pieces are hard to lose. All of the pieces were very easy to clean and sanitize. I noticed that when I used the bottle to feed my son, he was able to drink the 4 ounces much quicker than normal. It normally takes him about 20-25 minutes to finish a bottle, yet with the Philips Avent Anti-colic Bottle, he was about 15 minutes. This difference is important to me as my son takes approximately 8 bottles a day. That's a savings of 80 minutes of my time. My son wasn't gassy after using the bottle, and didn't cry after finishing his bottle like he usually does. In general, I would consider using these bottles. I would need to purchase a new bottle warmer cap to fit the wide mouth though.
If you look up 'colic' in the dictionary, there would be a photo of my son. In his first ten weeks, he's suffered so much and I was desperate for anything that might help ease his discomfort and his reflux. I received the Phillips Avent Anti-colic bottles as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel... and I felt so hopeful that a new bottle might change our feeding problems. After using other bottles that had so many small parts, it was refreshing to use a bottle with so few parts. The nipples were big and firm which he seemed to like a lot. The bottles were small and light which allowed my baby to rest his hands on either side of it and self-feed. They were easy to clean and fit perfectly on my drying rack. I love that there was measurements for both ounces and milliliters. I don't know if they helped my son in terms of colic relief, as the symptoms have remained, but they really are a great bottle!

philips.comI was given this baby bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My 6 month old is currently refusing to take a bottle. As I'm sure lots of you moms and dads out there are also experiencing this, one of the things often recommended, is to try different brands and bottles. I was hopeful this bottle would be IT, the winner! I am very sad to report this was not the case, and although my baby loved to play with it, hold it and put the nipple in her mouth, she never actually drank from it. As a 2-3 month old, she definitely suffered from gas and spit up, so this could have been a potential solution for us. Since she is 6 months, the size 1 nipples may have been too small for her as well, but it looks like you can get different sizes as your baby grows which is handy. I rated it 4 stars only because I couldn't actually evaluate the feeding, not because of the bottle, but because of my very stubborn little lady. That being said, the 3 pack is nice to have extra bottles on hand for feeds. They are very simple to take apart and very easy to clean. They are also a nice slender size for little hands to hold on to. I wish very much that she took this, but unfortunately it didn't pan out that way. I will continue to try and report back if we have success.

philips.comWe have been using the Philips Avent anti-colic bottle received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I found it initially a bit fast flowing for our newborn and preferred to use some slower flow nipples. Our newborn is now a month old and seems to be doing better with it. We don't have a colicky baby so I can comment on that aspect. Spit up seems to be similar regardless of what bottle we use at this point. I do like how easy it is to clean just like the other Avent bottles.

philips.comI received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This product made a big difference in my sons tummy troubles in such a short amount of time. Cleaning the bottle was a little lengthy due to all the pieces but it was straight forward and easy to wash and reassemble! The bottle and nipple provided a great feed for my little guy, the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was I think my son would have prefered a little bit wider nipple.

philips.comI received the Philips agent anti colic baby bottles from stellar product testing panel to try it out with my baby. She's been crying from gas after feeds and so thought I'd give this product a try as anti colic bottles are designed to reduce air swallowed during feeds. We've been using the bottle for a few days now and even though she needed some time to get used to it on the first two tries, she has taken the bottle well on subsequent feed. We are also observing less bloatedness and less fussiness from after the feeds. Even when we do our usual bicycle legs there were much less gas from her. Overall I think this bottle works great and is definitely helping my baby's tummy troubles.

philips.comWith our first baby finding the right bottle was a big challenge, we bought almost every brand on the market and he took none of them. So trying the Philips Avent Anti-colic Bottle 4oz 3pk with our second baby was another experiment for us and we had low expectations. My husband does the bottle feeding as our son is being breast fed by me, so finding a bottle that matches the shape of a real nipple and matches the flow of the milk is a challenge. We have found that the Philips Avent Anti-colic Bottle's have a nice shape that is easy to hold and so far, our son seems to enjoy the shape of the nipple. He has finished almost every bottle we have given to him using these bottles and were encouraged that this bottle experience will be alot easier than with our first baby. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle.

philips.comI was given this baby bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My boy has been mostly exclusively breastfed, but sometimes mommy needs a break or daddy just wants to bond with our boy by feeding him too. We've tried 3 different brands before this one and found that our little man struggled, either the flow was too slow or too fast or the nipple was not right for him to latch. So we used the quicker flow bottler cause he seemed more satisfied with those.. unfortunately, this resulted in bad colics, reflux and hours of crying. When we finally received the Avent bottles, we were a bit hesitant as if they would work or not.. well, after a few tries, our baby finally latched on, the flow was perfect for him, no coughing or choking, the nipple fit in his mouth perfectly and we have a very happy baby on our hands! We will definitely keep using these bottles, they are easy to clean and put together, they warm up in a decent amount of time and our baby likes them!

philips.comFirst of all, we are glad that our baby boy did not have any complications and wasn't a very colicky, gassy, or fussy one when it comes to bottle feedings. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle to try on my boy. I could obviously see the difference and improvement in terms of helping to ease the excessive amount of unwanted gas, spit-ups or burping. I was also very surprised that the transition to these bottles was very smooth because he could be very picky sometimes especially this baby was first introduced with other different brands of bottles with totally different size and shape's nipples like the wide-neck. Super easy to put together and clean as there weren't a lot of small parts to be taken apart and washed.

philips.comThanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle. As a new mother to a newborn baby, I learnt the challenges of breastfeeding early on. My little one had a hard time getting a good latch, which in turn, led to fussiness and tons of gas from swallowing too much air. Soon after realizing this, she was diagnosed by our family doctor with colic. At this time I had decided to start pumping and bottle feeding instead. It wasn't until I received these Philip Avent Anti-Colic bottles that I noticed a difference in my baby's colic, fussiness, and gas. The shape of the nipple allowed for a deep and secure latch, which reduced the amount of air my baby took in with feedings. The bottles were also a good size to hold when feeding my little one, which made the feedings comfortable and easy for myself as well. Another positive to these bottles is that they are dishwasher safe, which makes bottle cleaning and sterilization a breeze. One downfall to these bottles in specific is that they only hold up to 4 ounces, making them only useful for the first few months because as babies grow they may drink more then 4oz at feedings. Overall, I would recommend these bottles!

philips.comI received these bottles as a part of the Steller Product Testing Panel and was excited to try them as my son often has a lot of trapped gas and tends to spit up his bottles often or get extremely cranky. Overall, the bottles were easy to clean and put back together however the nipple was on the harder side so it took awhile for my son to adjust as he was used to using a softer nipple. Another downside to the bottles is that they can be tricky to put together and the anti-colic piece can leak if not placed exactly as intended. In comparison to other brands, they did a decent job reducing some gas and made my son a bit more comfortable after feeds.
