I really liked that this pump is battery operated and I wasn't restricted to being in one spot while pumping. I've used a Medela plug in pump before and after receiving the Medela SOLO as a trial through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I found the battery operated one far more convenient. The pump was discrete enough that I even managed to use it while driving in rush hour traffic and no one was the wiser!

After a year+ of pumping and washing pump parts, the Medela SOLO is a breath of fresh air. It is like slipping on a spring coat after putting away your parka. It is so easy to clean, with just one set of parts. I also love how few pieces there are compared to my full-size pump and love the new format for the breast shields (so comfy) and the larger valve. It is much more comfortable than my old pump-in-style, and because it is rechargeable, you can use it wherever you want. I usually use it during our getting ready for school routine in the morning and while cleaning the kitchen after dinner. I thought it was pretty efficient at pumping milk. I did feel that it was not as powerful as my full-size pump; however, it makes up for that in ease of use. Also, because I only pump one breast at a time, I don't need to use my nursing bra. I kind of tuck it into whatever bra I'm using. Overall, I am glad I have it, and I find myself reaching for it more and more often. I'm so grateful to have received this pump from Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out. I think this pump is convenient as a backup pump when on the go but not as the main pump. The pump is easy to use and clean but I would like a little more power than what the solo offers. I really like that it's rechargeable and compact so I could take it with me on the go without the bulk of a full sized pump. Great if you need something to pump on the fly and small/light enough to put in a purse

I love this pump! It's compact, quiet, and efficient. I have a double pump as well but this little pump is the best companion. It's small enough that I can throw it in my diaper bag when I need to pump on the go and I find I choose it over my double pump at home as well because it is more convenient. Its simple to use, easy to clean, and I love that has a rechargeable battery so I can pump anywhere. Highly recommend!! Packs a punch and really efficient at drawing out milk due to the single breast focus. I love how it looks, how it is portable, and that it's super intuitive and easy to use. Bonus is that it's easy to clean and simple to put together. I have a fast flow and really like to pump off an ounce while my daughter is nursing on the opposite side - so great for this and it being fast enough to keep up!!

As soon as I saw that Stellar Product Testing Panel was providing me with a new, rechargeable Medela breast pump I was excited. Although I was initially worried that the small motor may not be powerful enough, it proved me wrong when I was able to pump almost 6oz within 15-20 minutes. The pump is easy-to-use, quiet, and I love that I can use it hands free and away from any outlets. The shield was quite comfortable, even though it was slightly to large for me. The pump only comes with one size of breast shield and that might be its only downfall. It charges very quickly and the battery lasts long enough for multiple sessions. Lastly, my absolute favourite part of the pump was how easy it is to clean. SO EASY! I cannot wait to bring this pump with me on weekend getaways and family trips. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.An amazing alternative if a double pump is not available. Very easy to use, assembly in less than a minute. It is very lightweight compared to the double pumps I normally use which makes it great to travel with. I decided to use this mostly when at work, if I needed to pump quickly for relief. I also find this pump is much more quiet than the freestyle! Pumping about 5 minutes per side yielding a nice amount. I still used the Hakka on the opposite side to prevent any losses. I almost prefer this pump to my double simply because I can easily massage with my free hand while pumping. Easy to clean (like majority of Madela pumps). I would definitely recommend this as a single pump over the swing! I haven't decided if I like it enough to replace my freestyle!

I was given this breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product testing panel. I was already a huge fan of Medela's pumps previously, owning a few older models. This new model did not disappoint. It was super efficient for being such a small/discreet machine. I loved that it was rechargeable and I was able to put it in my diaper bags for easy access and set up while out and about. It is super user friendly, and as easy to clean as breast pumps can be. I will definitely be using this pump daily as I return to work.

I received this product as part of the Stella Product Testing panel. This pump is another excellent Medela product that is simple to use, effective, and most importantly very quiet. Medela has gone a long way in reducing the amount of noise on their pumps! Of note, this is a single pump and therefore more useful as a on-the-go pump, although their double pumps are easily converted to single pumps as well. Overall another excellent product from Medela and would definitely recommend as a second pump.

I was given this breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have another pump that I had been using as my primary pump until I received my Medela Solo. While typically this pump could be used as a supplemental pump, it has stolen my heart and I now use it as my primary pump. With the Solo I am no longer stuck to being plugged into the wall as it has the ability to be rechargeable so you can pump on the go. The output is amazing and I was able to pump more ounces in a shorter amount of time then my primary pump even. My favorite feature of this pump is how few pieces it has to wash and clean. The design is so nice and user friendly that assembling and dissembling no longer takes me a couple minutes, it's done in a few seconds. I absolutely love my Medela Solo. Pumping is no longer a chore, but instead a quick enjoyable experience.
