As a curly haired girl myself, I know that we curly haired girls are looking for a light mouse that will both define our curls and avoid frizz. This product will NOT do that, it will actually do the opposite. When I first tried it, I followed the instructions and put it on wet to damp hair and let it air dry. I put it in my roots to create volume and the mids and ends to define curls and prevent frizz in those areas. I put a little more on the back of my head because that's where I get the most frizz. I let it completely air dry before touching it, and when i did, I cannot tell you how both sticky and hard my hair was. It felt so disgusting. I even hurt to pull apart and try to comb through. IT felt so terrible that, that same day I washed my hair again because the feeling of this product in my hair was so intolerable. Because I did not want to waste the product I started using it to lay down my baby hairs. At some point it dropped on my floor, which mind you is carpet, the top broke. The dispenser no longer works. Therefore the packaging is cheap and badly built if it going to break with just one tumble on carpet. Would Not Recommend!!!!!

I have wavy hair and I love how this mousse works with my natural hair! It smells great, doesn't get crunchy, and is light enough on my hair. Helps me not have frizzy hair and it's a great price.

It's sad to say that I think I may be one of the few reviews not written by AI. I am not sure that half of the people that have left reviews have actually used this product. I was so excited for this product to come out. I patiently waited for them to formulate the fragrance free mousse while I tried the cream and gel versions. As someone with thick wavy hair, the gel and cream weighed down my hair. I hoped that the mousse would be more of a lightweight option. On the bottle it says the hold is 2, but it feels more like 5. I only put just a bit in my hair and leaves my hair very crunchy and hard which I do not like. And also, while I am happy that this product does not contain synthetic fragrance I am displeased to say that this product has an odor and not a good one. I'm very shocked that no one has complained of the smell in the reviews. It smells very "yeasty". Kind of like an old person. Sad to say that I am very disappointed in this product and we'll have to continue looking for a fragrance free mousse for my wavy hair. Not Your Mother's tends to be a brand that listens to their customers, so I'm hoping that they take every review into consideration to maybe reformulate this product.

The packaging is very efficient and easy to use. The scent is light and is a universal scent. The mousse itself, is lightweight but has a hold. My hair had a hold without being crunchy or dried out. The can contains a great amount of mousse for the value.

my hair looks absolutely stunning phenomenal with this mousse! not too crunchy and not too soft but the perfect hold! it has no scent, very neutral scent. the foam comes out a little strange so make sure to not squeeze out a whole lot because it expands once on your hand!

The packing is very cute but the texture it's leaves on my hair makes it really dry and a bit crunchy to the touch and doesn't mix well with other products
