I received this breast pump free from Philips as a product trial. Really liked this pump. The silicone was soft against the skin so much so that after a bit you couldn't really feel it. The suction was controllable. So at the beginning when breasts were a bit engorged I could control the strength o...f the suction. The shape of the handle and bottle made for easy handling without needing both hands. The clear markings on the bottle made easy reading to measure how much milk was taken. This was also reassuring as I could then see exactly how much milk my baby was taking. The pump allowed the opportunity to take milk down to allow others to do a feed. Also it was small enough to take out allowing milk to be take off fresh when needed. When latched on correctly there were no leaks, although this did take a bit of practice. The cleaning of the pump was easy and could be sterilised with other baby items. I have enjoyed testing this product and would recommend it to my friends and others. Yes, I recommend this product
I've been breastfeeding my baby for almost 11 months and soon will come to an end so I've been looking for a manual pump to help me when I decide to wean since part of that process will need me to relieve engorgement. Lucky enough, I was given this manual breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Pr...oduct Testing Panel. One thing to call out with this breast pump that I wasn't sure about is that it doesn't let you choose the flange size as it claims its silicone flange will "adjust" to the size of your nipple. When I used it, I felt it was pulling in too much of my breast with my nipple which probably wouldn't happen if it had specific sizes.. I do have elastic nipples, but if anything silicone flanges are supposed to be better for women who have them. I did follow the directions and had milk coming out within a minute but I didn't feel comfortable and had to stop in under 10 minutes. I will say this is the first manual pump I've tried, and I think I will stick with it because it does the job I need for weaning. But if I needed this for everyday pumping or a longer period of pumping, I would rather use my electrical pump. I think it will work well for portability since it comes with a flange cover and is not a big size. Cleaning was pretty simple as it doesn't have too many parts, but assembly could be better. I had trouble with the top part that hooks into the suction, but the instructions helped me figure it out in the end. I think it's convenient you can convert the milk container into a bottle if you have avent nipples. Overall, I feel this pump is good for weaning moms like myself that just need a moment of relief, but I wouldn't use it for a full pumping session!
Not sure if we received a faulty pump, it simple could not get the milk out at all unfortunately. Not sure if the duckbill valve is faulty, but just no milk so far. tried the whole 1 month, no milk suction.

philips.comI received this pump to try via Stellar Panel. I'm one month postpartum and this pump arrived right at the crucial time I began developing my milk supply. There are things I loved and disliked about this manual pump. Loved: - Effective in removing milk. This was super nice to have on the go. I brought it with running errands before I purchased a portable pump. Disliked: - Suction was difficult to get right. I found that it slid around quite a bit if it wasn't positioned just right. - There are a lot of parts which made cleaning annoying. It also took a few tries (and looking through the instructions) to put it back together. All in all, this is a solid manual pump that I will continue to use.

philips.comI received this manual breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was excited to try this pump because I'm an exclusive pumper to my 11 month old baby. Anything to make pumping quicker, easier, cleaner, and more convenient is right up my alley! For reference, I've used a Lansinoh manual pump, so that's my only manual pump comparison, but I also exclusively use a Spectra S1 these days and have also used a portable wearable pump. Pump, pump, pump, pump! I found this pump really easy to use. Pros: It's super easy to clean, which is such a big plus when it comes to pumping. The duckbill is easy to remove without getting messy and pulling on the valve. I *love* how the flange has a silicone insert because most fits for pumps are too big or too small. This is a much smaller pump than my Lansinoh pump, so it conveniently fits in my car glovebox without any problems. It's easy to use! I didn't need a lot of start up time to get pumping, so it was pretty clear that almost anyone could use it. Some cons: You're limited to the flange that it comes with, so it's not interchangeable with other flanges you might already have. That's not a huge problem, but if this isn't your mainstay, it means you'll have to keep track of all the parts more closely. The base of the silicone part is also really soft, so it's hard to initially go in without bending. This pump seemed to collect more condensation than my other pumps, but it could just be that it was hot in my room. That can mean that it's harder to see your milk flow up close and personal. Another downside is that I'm most comfortable using my regular silicone inserts, and this did not allow for that. It was still comfortable without them though. As with all manual pumps, I didn't pump anywhere close to what I would get from an electric, but it's definitely unfair to compare the two as they're apples to oranges. Overall: it was really great to use, and I'll definitely reach for it again. Does it live up to its claims? Yes. Gentle and portable? Absolutely. Would I recommend it to someone else? Definitely. @phillipsavent, @stellarreviewers, #ShareTheCare, #Stellarreviewers

philips.comThe pump iv very gentle on my breast. However, it may take time to find your rythm. I think its a great choice if you exclusive breastfeeding but you want to have breast pump just in case. Also, it has much compact desin, so you can take it with you. Electric pumps have bulky parts and so many cords. Price is very affordable for such convenience. I like that pump is going straight into the bottle. As mom of two I do recommend to buy this pump to be prepared to anything. I'm very grateful Stellar product testing panel for having opportunity to test this pump.

philips.comI have loved using this pump for travel. I can keep it in my car or diaper bag for pumping on the go. I don't have to bother with keeping it charged since it's manual! I am an exclusive pumper and I have found the manual pump actually empties my milk better than the electric pump. It's a little less convenient than the electric pump but I like the portability and that there are no cords and charge needed. The parts are easy to clean and take apart/put back together. Overall, this pump is a great option if you're looking for a pump to keep in your car or carry around in your diaper bag! (I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.)

philips.comThis manual pump has been so comfortable and convenient. I love the hassle-free ease of use. I can just toss it in my bag or keep it on my nightstand without having to worry about cords, plugs, noise, etc. I received this as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was not in search of a manual breast pump, but I'm so glad i received it. I probably wouldn't have tried one on my own because I didn't think I needed it, but it has changed my overnight pumping. It will be so great for when I wean myself off of my overnight pumps because I can just express what I need to feel relief without having to empty myself completely. It's so much better than using other silicone suction milk collectors IMO. It's easy to assemble and clean.

philips.comThanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this manual breast pump. My overall impression of this manual breast pump was 5 stars; it is quiet, lightweight and easy to use. I was consistently able to get an average of 1 ounce more of milk on each side than my battery-operated portable pump; I will certainly be utilizing this is a supplement or a complete replacement for some pumping sessions now since it's increased my production. I appreciate the compact design; I've downgraded the size of my diaper bag to a mini bag and this fits perfectly inside for pumping on-the-go. I really appreciate the flange cover; I don't think either of the other pumps I own came with covers. The cover for the bottle also feels secure and doesn't leak. I also appreciate how quiet this pump is; I work from home and was able to pump while in a meeting that required our microphones to be on for training. It's also appreciated when it doesn't wake up my baby for late-night pump sessions. The silicone flange itself fit me perfectly and provided great suction. This pump is also very comfortable to use and the parts themselves are easy to assemble and to clean. I was able to clean the parts with a standard brush set that I use for my other pumps. Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this manual breast pump

philips.comThe Phillips avent breast pump is compact, lightweight and easy to use. The collection bottle can be used as a baby bottle with the right nipple(not included) which is pretty convenient. The silicone part that makes contact with your body is quite soft and comfortable. Pumping was easy and I was producing milk quite quickly. It's well made and the parts are solid. Cons: there are sooo many parts to disassemble and wash if you truly want to sanitize it. It was also causing some discomfort as I pumped. Per the manual it's likely because the suction was too high but there isn't a way to adjust it at far as I could tell. Over all this is a pretty good manual pump and can work well for you if you body likes it. I was given this manual breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

philips.comI loved that this pump and that it was ready to use when I opened the box. It was user friendly and perfect for on the go pumping sessions. Sometimes I don't want to complete my late night pumping sessions when I am tired, but I was far more motivated when I got this manual pump, because I knew it would be easy. The parts were easy to assemble and break down to wash. I appreciated how small and compact it was, so I could throw it in my bag for a quick on the go pumping session. I was very impressed with how much milk I yielded, using this pump. I loved that it connected to the Philips Avent glass bottles I use for my 8 month old. I was able to pump directly in the bottle and have them ready for the next day. I am very grateful for this pump! Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me this pump to test and review.

philips.comI received the Philips Avent Manual Breast Pump - Easy Pumping with Natural Motion Technology as a test product from Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is an amazing breast pump that has actually increased my production! The compact design makes traveling with it a piece of cake. It takes up very little room, and is very easy to put together and use discretely. The pump is very comfortable to use and the silicone flange has been not only comfortable but easy to fit my breast (B cup). Once I'm done pumping cleaning is very easy thanks to minimal parts and it is very easy to reassemble.
