The jist of the micro mist.

I have had a couple days to review the Boogie micro-mist saline inhaler. I can see the benefit of having this on hand being that it is portable and convenient. As a mom who has allergies herself I decided to try it on myself since currently my kids aren't sick in any way, nor do they have seasonal ...allergies. I could clearly tell it was opening up my sinuses because my ability to breathe was less constricted. I honestly had no clue it was because of my dry sinuses. It is just a saline solution so there are no chemicals in the spray itself. Knowing that I am a natural mom, I do not want a bunch of chemicals being shot into my nose and my bloodstream. When comparing this product to a normal nasal can of saline. I love the ability to have zero contamination because you are not touching the nozzle nor are you putting anything contaminated anywhere near it. I do notice that it leaves your face quite wet when you use it. However I do feel that a portable nebulizer would be a better option. Yes you'd spend more money initially but I feel that for the cost of this product with a congested child, you would be spending every bit of the cost of a mini handheld nebulizer and saline solution on multiple of these Boogie brand inhalers. This is convenient and it is a great tool for moms to have in their pocketbooks or diaper bags if they just need this for the occasional congested child. I was able to put the whole thing together one handed which is a must if you have a small child you can not lay down. I would recommend it to others. Overall I like the usability of the Boogie Micro-mist saline inhaler. I feel that this type of product has been long overdue. If I would give one bit of advice to the company is that they need to offer a refill system without the mask included or something after you use up the can. Once you use this product up you are left with a mask you won't need anymore and I feel that's quite wasteful and expensive in the long run.
