I will sometimes take this when the weather changes and an old injury I have flares up. It works well to alleviate my pain for 4 hours.

Not effective pain relief for me. Using 2 tablets didn't get any relief for an hour, then one hour later, pain returned and had to wait another hour before taking any further medication. Single dose aspirin is effective within 20 of taking and works for me for 4 to six hours.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Since I have been sensitive to ibuprofen and naproxen (after being pregnant), I only use tylenol for any types of pain and it definitely manages well.

Tylenol regular strength helped me manage pain from a surgery. I didn't believe a regular OTC medicine would be effective enough but it was.
