As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

Does not cook hot enough due gap between glass
On the ceramic portion where the lid seals against the have 4 nubs to keep the glass slightly raised not allowing it to seal and retain heat properly. 4 hours on high and my soup had overly crunchy vegetables. High didn't even bring the soup to a simmer.
