Burnt my skin
This burned my skin! It.claims it's supposed to help with the redness of post acne, but instead it made it much worse burnt and skin started peeling! People have noticed the redness and burnt skin, it's so embarrassing. It's nice that it worked fine for others, unfortunately after 3 uses, I will never use it again. Such a waste for me.

The zinc will not...
The zinc will not absorb and often leaves bits on the face that look like eraser shavings. No amount of gentle patting will get this product to spread smoothly over the skin. I love ceraVe and I use many of their products, but the daily moisturizer with sunscreen was a miss for me.

Prevents acne, reduces inflammation & gets rid of
Helps prevent acne breakouts. Whenever I have an inflamed pimple it'll calm it down and make it less red in like 2 days while when I used just regular acne cleansers it could take up to 2 weeks. It also helps get rid of acne that's already on your face. I'd recommend this product it you want to prevent acne and take away acne that isn't too too bad. But if you just have really bad acne that won't go away but no new pimples, us the acne control cleanser. If you have bad acne that won't go away and constant new pimples use both acne foaming cleansers (this one) and the acne control cleanser.

I am planning to postpone resurfacing of my chin and mouth area. Acne scars on chin and lines above top lip have lessened.
