Had to toss
Couldn't finish this cake, it tasted awful. How can something with so much sugar taste so bad?
Way too sweet
Eating this carrot cake is like eating sugar cubes wrapped in candy floss and dipped in pancake syrup. I had one small piece and tossed the rest.
Not overly sweet
Though the sweetness is about right as many pre-made carrot cakes often have overly sweet icing. This one's icing isn't as sweet. If you like pumpkin spice or eggnog this is the cake for you. While I do like those flavors I don't like how strong it is in this product. I would prefer it like the icing. More subtle. So I could taste the carrot in the cake. It us only because of strength of spice flavor I don't recommend it. But its a very good cake otherwise. So gor some they might like the strong spices.
