My doctor recommended this for my 6 yr old daughter who had a non stop cough and runny dose. I find it really helps, she still cough but much less and also helps with the runny nose. It doesn't make the symptoms go fully away but at least 50%.

Im a drug sensitive adult and I suffer from horrible seasonal allergies. I've tried taking adult medications but found the side effects were worse than the symptoms. I thought I would try the children's version of reactine and found that, yes it works, however the drowsiness effect made it so I can only take it closer to bedtime. How do kids function taking this during the day? The medication tastes like rockets candy, melt very fast but can lead to a bitter after taste so a nice juice drink will help with that. It started to relieve symptoms within 20 minutes for me but the sedation effect hit after about 30 min. If you just trying this I would suggest giving it to you child when you have no plans to do anything just in case your child needs to sleep it off. Not a bad product just wish it wasn't a sleeping aid ( at least for me ).

I love this product. Easy to give and easy to take with you. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere anymore.

This was an allergy recommended by the doctor for my child's allergy. We have been using it for seven days straight and the itchness keeps coming back. I do not want to use it beyond its recommended usage. This medicine is not working.

This medication turned my 5 year old son into a child with adhd symptoms. Although it did ease the allergy a bit, it made him foggy, he didn't have the attention span to talk in full sentences, midway sentence picks up on something else, his energy levels are very low for the first 15 hours, and then slowly return to normal. He didn't even have the attention span to read his favorite book. Tantrums, higheten emotions. in the first hour he seems like he is drun. Once the 24 hours wear off, he slowly turns back to his normal self. It might work for some but not for my son.

It's a great product overall and it helps with my allergies a lot.

My 7 year old's seasonal allergies are brutal and painful. Her eyes swell and she develops 'allergy shiners (black eyes)'. This product gets her back to herself. With regards to speed and efficacy, this product is PERFECT. But we are in huge trouble for the 8 of the 24 hours the product doesn't work for. She will wake from sleep when the medication wears off. The doctor said to supplement with Benadryl when needed, but that is not nearly as effective. And the prescription eye drops don't seem to aid to the same degree as the Reactine.

Works extremely quickly. Wouldn't say it lasts 24 hours though, I would take one tablet at 9:00 AM and by 3:00 it would start wearing off and that would be when I take my eye drops. Definitely cures symptoms fast.

My grandkids liked the taste of this plus it helps with sneezing and lasts long
