Lays new Classic potato chip
The bag has a retro look that's unique on an easy reading package. The white Lay's on the Red Ribbon can be spotted from afar. The pictures of potatoes confirms product affirmation. My first impression has surprised me because it tasted somewhat different from the usual mostly Yellow only Bag that I identify as my favourite snack as well as the favourite snack of my friends. Each bite feels like a thicker chip that tastes a litte more earthy but thicker and less snap. Truthfully I keep asking store staff where they keep the regular Yellow Lay's 235g chip bags for almost 10 minutes. That's because I miss the slightly thinner, saltier, oily chip that my taste buds still remembers. Those chips have the craving factor unique from all other brands or shapes. I will consider a healthier chip cooked in Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Apparently this type of oil is good for one's health and brain cells. But olive oil is difficult for deep frying. Without the Yellow Bag Lay's chips, I may need to switch to other snack foods.
