This is an affordable primer. It sets nicely into my face and makes my makeup last. Definitely try it out if you can!

nice texture but i wasn't wowed. solid 3/5 it added a nice sheen to my skin but i wish it blurred my pores more
Wonderful Primer
As with the under eye concealer, I was very pleased with the results I had with the primer. Upon initial application, I noticed that it felt similar to the Smashbox primer, which is not a primer that I enjoy. I tend to have oily skin, and that primer actually exacerbates the problem. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this primer made my skin look matte and stay matte. It kept my makeup looking beautiful all night for the event that I was going to and lasted until I washed my makeup off that night.

Does what the label says
I wore this under a light serum foundation for two weeks while tripping around London and Paris during the heatwave. By the end of the day there was no shine and my foundation was still on my face beautifully. Its really comfortable on my oily skin with only a slight 'silicone' feeling to it. Will be repurchasing.
Slippery
Makes my skin feel slick which seems counterproductive to being matte. It smooths things out which is good but I definitely don't stay matte all day. The packaging is convenient
Revlon Grip primer
Great and affordable product. I use this as a eyeshadow primer, works excellent. The shadows I add are all day lasting.

This primer helps keep the make up in place and looks very smooth. It is not very sticky so that's a plus. Some flaking in the under eye but otherwise it is okay. Good matte look with not much shine.
Smoothing primer for flawless, extended wear
I have been using the set of Grip, Lock and Blot from the Revlon Colourstay range. The combined power of these 3 products is undeniable! Grip is the primer. I instantly notice that my complexion is transformed to a smoother better version of itself. My foundation applies more easily, meaning i need to use less, which is always great. The packaging indicates 16 hours longwear and I was able to test that out over a few very long days. It really held up well. I didnt need to reapply across the day, and I had limited shine or smudge at the end of the day. I actually felt disappointed on the mornings I forgot to apply the primer. For a user friendly, easy to apply primer, this one ticks all the boxes and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
