I loved the old Elf eyeshadow primer! I not only used it for my eyelids, but it did a great job on my bridge to even out the redness without having to wear many or heavy products. This new version is terrible!! It's very oily putting it on. It has no tint what-so-ever and you can't visibly tell you'...

Affordable and works well!
I haven't really tried that many eye primers but this one is good. You have time to work with it before it dries down to a slightly tacky layer on your eyelids. I like that it has an applicator to help you get the product out instead of squeezing it out and potentially wasting product.
Can't live without it.
I have very hooded eye lids and could not use any liner or shadow without this product.
Alright eyeshadow primer
I have oily eyelids and my eyeshadow always creases. This primer helped somewhat, but the old formula was definitely better
Oily eyelids finally met their match
I've tried a few different eyeshadow primers on my oily eyelids over the years, and this is the first one that genuinely prevented creasing and helped the color last all day. I should note that this is using it with powder eyeshadow and a base shade; I cannot vouch for if it works with creams, crayons, or liquids. What immediately struck me when trying this out was that it actually felt different on my skin from previous primers. When I went to spread it around with my fingertips, I could feel it resisting the movement and changing the surface texture of my eyelids to something a bit dryer and grippier. Did not disappoint. The only areas where I did notice fading were my eyeliner zones. I use powder eyeshadow for eyeliner, and I'm guessing that only faded because I couldn't get the primer right up to my lashlines using just my fingers.
Great product
I really enjoyed this product, it does its intended purpose. However i don't do much color or different texture eyeshadow to really know if it will hold for long wear.
Horrible revamp on the eyelid primer
Why did you revamp this formula? This new one is awful. I've been a user of the old formula for years. This new one is watery, thin & does not work well. I'm bummed you had to ruin a good thing. I'm now on a search for something similar to your old formula.

This eyeshadow primer makes eyeshadow lasts longer and colors become more visible and prominent when I use this

This primer is amazing! My eyeshadow lasted all day and I even tested my leaning it on for the night and the whole next day and it still looked flawless! Love it!
