I loved the old Elf eyeshadow primer! I not only used it for my eyelids, but it did a great job on my bridge to even out the redness without having to wear many or heavy products. Not an effective eye shadow primer
I love most of ELF products but not this one. It does absolutely nothing to hold my eye shadow, definitely not long lasting. I threw it out.
I like it
recently tried the ELF Lock It Down Eyeshadow Primer and I'm impressed. It glides on smoothly, creating a flawless base that helps my shadows stay put all day without creasing. The formula feels lightweight, yet it grips pigment nicely, making colors look more vibrant. A little goes a long way, and it pairs perfectly with both matte and shimmer shades. My eye makeup lasts through long days and humid weather, with zero fading or fallout. Definitely a staple in my routine now.

Best eyelid primer I have used so far
I tried this eyelid primer to see if it works as well as a more expensive brand and I'm glad I tried it out! My eyeshadow stays in place and you can't beat it for the price! What's worrisome is I am having trouble finding it and I hope it's not being discontinued. I will continue to buy it as long as it's available!
It is pretty good
I am so curious what the OG formula was like so that I could compare it. But I will say this is a decent eye primer and does help my eyeshadow stay in all day and keeps it from creasing
Best primer for shadow and brows
I've gone through many tubes of this. I use it all over my lid and brow area. Nothing budges! which I need for my oily skin. I always have a back up of this.
It's okay
Why why did we change the formula? This version is more liquidy and it takes a bit to dry - time I usually don't have. When I do have time it works well but not worth the change.
