Just don't run your fingers through it
I put this gel in my son's hair and it made it stick up pretty well. He ran his fingers through it quit a bit while he was in his car seat. When I went to get him out of the car it looked like he had dandruff. I think this gel works fine, just don't run your fingers through it or brush it.

Not a the same formula!
They not only renamed and changed the packaging but the formula is definitely different! It is not as moisturizing and does not hold as well is the original Headstrong Volume Mousse. The old version was perfect! They need to bring it back
PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!
New packaging + DIFFERENT formula that DOES NOT work like before. Why mess with the formula that was AMAZING?! :(
New "volumizing" gel
I read the statement from Aussie that this was the same product as Headstrong gel, just in new packaging. But it's NOT. Headstrong really gave my hair an extra boost of volume and kept my style in place even after brushing. The new gel lacks some of the original ingredients and actually made my hair soft and flat. No thanks! I've very disappointed.

OVerall a great holding gel. I have a lot of hair so it is easily weighed down on it own. this leaves me with little volume. This gel does its job but it takes a little manipulation. A very good hold but can get a little heavy on the ends.
Aussie is great
I love this gel so much. It is not super sticky leaving a gross feeling on my hands or my hair. It has a good small smell. I do not need to use a lot of it. My son who is 10 also uses it and he uses a small amount, spikes his hair with it and it lasts a whole school day. It is easy to wash out at the end of the day and does not leave the hair feeling dry or sticky.

I have loved using this hair gel! It smells quite nice. It has a nice fresh scent that isn't too overbearing but is still enough to make my hair smell good. The hold is really quite fantastic. It holds all of the hairstyles I have tried so far with a strong hold without the crunch. My hair never feels crunchy or hard and I don't see any residue all over my hair. It just leaves my styles the way they should, my hair is left clean and it lasts all day long! Highly recommend…
Helps with frizzy hair
I have short hair which is always frizzy. I've been trying to find a hair gel that will keep my hair from frizzing but nothing worked until i came across Aussie. So far Aussie hair gel has been amazing for my hair:)
Pretty good
I like this pretty well. It applies quite easily and isn't too sticky, a common problem with gel. Dries pretty well too, not too crunchy. My hair is just wavy so I don't desperately need it for control. A curly haired type would probably enjoy it more.

Very good gel I would definitely recommend and continue to use. The gel works great and leaves my hair feeling and looking great. It doesn't leave any residue either . The scent is amazing just as well.

Aussie spray gel is the best on hold, not to sticky but holds great. Smels great and product is very long lasting hold. I was very impressed and surprised by how well it worked. I would definitely recommend this product
