It works fine for combing out my brows but I do find it a bit scratchy. I've never tried other spoolies before but I don't think they feel like this

It doesn't break under pressure like other spoolies. It's a good quality and has lasted me many uses and washes
Yes to affordable brushes!
I've been using this brush for a long time and it's still holding up. It's easy to clean, lightweight and simple, affordable price. This is a great spoilee brush. I use this to brush out my eyelash extensions. Bristles possibly could be a little softer but this is a pretty good option if you aren't looking to invest in expensive brushes & tools.

I've been using these brushes for years and they're a steal for the price! I use them on my lashes after I've applied mascara to separate them and remove any clumps. The brushes wash up well and last a long time.
