Bought into the hype, but the hype was wrong

Love the coverage, not the raccoon eyes
I love the look of this mascara, but by the end of the day, it is all smudged under my eyes. Oddly, it's hard to remove from my lashes. I also don't feel safe using this brand anymore because they don't use any packaging—anyone can open it in the store and I would never know.
Trendy but unimpressive when trying it on
I think its ok for young kids to use but for me it doesn't align with my standards.
uneven application
ive tried some of the other mascaras that essence has made but this was for me was the worst. im not sure if it the applicator or the formula but when i put it on the mascara clumps up and leaves glob of mascara on my eyelashes and if i get a even application its still to thick for me.
First time user of this brand
I don't wear makeup just a brow pencil and lipstick n mostly gloss n pout. I love the way eyelash extensions look on me but I don't get it done often. So I decided to try mascara and saw Essence mascaras then googled beginner mascara. Welll when I saw amazing mascara I am pleased. I will eventually try more colonizing but for now I like the effect it gives. It's dramatic and gives me length.

Essence Lash Princes Mascara splashed on the market in the height of the pandemic. I purchased it back in 2020 and loved it. Then went down the 'make-up' rabbit hole trying high end mascara - drug store mascara. 2025 I wanted a good mascara because most of my recent purchases were not good. I purchased this again in 2025 and now I know why I love it so much. Glides on easy, creates butterfly princes lashes, last all day, it's affordable, not clumpy, great application wand. Affordable mascara that is one of the best in today's market

It is long lush eyelashes. It is the best mascara I've ever tried. Keep it up essence. Love the mascara.
Didn't like at all
I think I'm the only one in the world that hates this mascara. Doesn't stay on, smudges and flames off even though I'm not touching my face. Didn't think it was up to the hype. Milani is a better brand for me.
Vegan?!!!!
How is it vegan if it contains beeswax? I like it but tested allergic to propolis so I need to avoid beeswax and got this because Ii t was advertised as vegan
Best I've ever used
I've tried many waterproof mascaras and this is the best I've ever used. I've even suggested it to others and they raved about it.
OBSESSED
This is my most favorite mascara. My lashes have never looked so long and full. It goes on smooth and doesn't clump on the lashes. Best mascara on the market!
