Love both the icing and the loaf
I give this lemon poppy seed iced loaf cake 5 stars. One of the best parts of it is the icing—it really makes the flavor stand out. I don't usually write reviews, but I decided to support this product after seeing another customer give it only 3 stars simply because it has icing. That feels unfair. The icing is part of what this loaf is meant to be, and many people enjoy baked goods exactly for that balance of sweetness. Also, pastries already contain sugar, so avoiding icing alone doesn't really address that concern. If someone has dietary restrictions, it makes more sense to choose a different product that fits their needs, rather than lowering the rating of one that is made as intended. I hope the icing stays, because it's a key part of what makes this loaf so good.

I love and I do mean love the lemon poppy seed slices however I would love it even more if you made it without the icing. Then I wouldn't have to hesitate in serving it to my guest if they are diabetic Please and I do mean please, make a lemon poppy seed loaf without the icing. I would truly love that option. I have tried the golden loaf and didn't like it as it had no flavour. If I may please put more lemon in the loaf and slices with the poppy seed slices. Thank you
