When I first bought the lip liner I fell in love with the shade and consistency. However I couldn't work out how to get more product out of it. I tried sharpening it but the material is far too hard and plasticky to do so. Then I tried pushing and turning the bottom. I thought it was broken so I bought another one. I had the exact same issue and nothing felt right. So i searched it up and found out it was a sharpening lip liner. This liner is not the right material to sharpen so much so that it hurts to do so. It also breaks off immediately after sharpening it. I'm really disappointed with the product especially as I love the shade and consistency so much.

I bought this because I loved the colour. It was lovely to apply and the colour was true to the descriptions online. Sadly it made my lips sore, itchy and a bit swollen. I'm not sure which ingredient I was intolerant too. Just a reminder to myself to patch test.

Big Lift Lovely colour and very easily applied nice and smooth. Can get into lines but doesn't bleed so that's a real positive. I will definitely use when using lip colour that blends with the colour.

I bought this 2 weeks ago, and you cannot sharpen this. It just falls apart. I am so disappointing. I've been looking for a good liner for what feels like forever. If I could sharpen it that would be great.

This lip liner deserves a way higher rating than it is receiving. Yes the formula is creamy but if you are gentle it doesnt break and is not hard to apply. Also have never had a problem with sharpening it but I don't let the tip get super dull before sharpening it. In my opinion this is a great lip liner, no cons for me, definitely worth trying.

Love the colour and longevity, howver impossible to sharpen without losing too much of the product. Please consider making this a retractable pencil so manual sharpening is not required.

'Line leader' is a nice link for olive skin tones. Good application and doesn't feel drying. I'm about to bin a few older pencils which look waxy compared with the Maybelline

I brought this lip liner this morning and just tried it on and I was very disappointed. This was because the packaging looked like it was matte but it was very glittery on and I do not like that. However the apart from that it was alright.
