Unpleasant Citrus Smell
The orange scent is pleasant in the packaging, however, it is not pleasant once washed into your clothes. Something about citrus smelling clothes is not pleasant or reminiscent of clean to me, and my husband agreed. After washing, my clothes had this sour citrus-like smell, which was very offputting...

Love the fragrance but they don't dissolve
I bought a large container of these because I love the scent and I've used other Downey beads before unfortunately these require multiple washes to get them to dissolve and leave a mess if you don't wash multiple times, so I simply stopped using them and threw them away, which is a total waste of money and really irritating. Get it together, Downey.
Great scent
This is the only scent booster I can use with my allergy to scents. Please keep this in stock and not discontinue it.
Fantastic scent! All day long, but not obnoxious.
I literally came on here to specifically rate this item, which is uncommon for me. I use the lesser measurement regardless of size of load in an HE washer, and it smells amazing Everytime. I've literally been asked why I smell so good, multiple times by co-workers, neighbors, and friends. Definitely a winner.

This smells so good, but i am a sucker for anything citrus, tangerine or orange scented. Dissolves well in both cold and warm water. Good to pair with fragrance free detergents if you want a fragrance that you can adjust the strength of.

downy.comI guess I'm a glutton for punishment because I keep trying scent boost beads and I keep not liking them, but it finally paid off! I don't like strong or artificial smelling fragrances, so I tend to buy free and clear detergent, but for some things, I like just a little bit of nice scent. There are orange groves near where I live, and I actually hate the smell of real orange blossoms, but these scent beads actually have more of what I'd consider a peachy fragrance that is quite gentle and not too strong. With the scent beads, it is easy to control the level of fragrance and get just the right amount, and I love the light fruityness these add. I'm so glad I gave them a chance and now have a good scent option to add to my laundry routine as needed.
Best scent ever!!!
I love this scent! It is my favorite!! Where I live only my family dollar carries them, when I see them I buy them all. Usually it's 3-4 bottles at a time. Love this product and as long as you have this scent I will stick with Downy!
Leaves brown spots on whites
I'n not sure if its the hot water or the bleach that interacts with these beads. But my whites have started to get brown spots when using the beads. So, no more.
