Gourmet Garden Lightly Dried Basil is simply a large bunch of fresh basil, that has been harvested when essential oils are at their peak, then lightly washed, dried (just enough) and chopped to last up to 4 weeks once opened. (Store it right in the handy click 'n stack bowl!) Because it is only lightly dried it refreshes in cooking, giving you the closest flavour, appearance and aroma to that of fresh herbs...without the wilt guilt.
