If you hate scratchy pencils, do NOT buy this one.
I've always hated a scratchy pencil. It gives me feelings like nails on the chalkboard. I never used a pencil when I was little becuase of this. Of course now there are zillions of options, and I know which pencils I am comfortable with. I got this pencil free when I oredred my textbooks. I tested it today and yeesh! VERY SCRATCHY. I would not invest in this pencil. Sorry Bic.
Mechanical Pencils
BIC Mechanical pencils are great! I use them everyday. These pencils are very handy and you don't have to sharpen them. The only downside of Mechanical pencils are is the lead breaks very easily. Also They're different kinds of lead, so if you have to refill your pencil you have to get a certain type of lead. Mechanical pencils write very well on paper, the print comes out really well. On the bright side you don't have to sharpen the pencil.

Worst update with lead, good if lead is replaced.
These were the best pencils ever. I used them on boats and in the forest for my job. They were cost effective if lost and worked in every weather condition. I could even find one after leaving it on a boat for 2 years and it still worked properly and was intact other than the coloration. The new lead just doesn't work as well as the old. It crumbles easily and its harder to read. I'd find a different product or swap out the new lead for a better quality replacement lead. I wish bic would go back to the original product I miss my trusty pencils.
Great product but I think a confusing name.
I love the clip of the pencil! I like that it is recyclable if the eraser wears out! The pencil is light weight and I see it everywhere! (including the bic sparkles which I dont think bic sells in this website)

Bad
I bought some of these pencils and all of the wiles where the led comes out where closed and I was ver mad and I could not return them because I had already opened them. I love these one but I hate them when I can't use them
Perfect Fit
I received these great little pencils as part of a product review. I have problems finding any writing utensils that I can write clearly with. I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome and it affects my handwriting drastically. With these pencils being so small for whatever reason I can grip them easier and I have more control. I highly recommend these to anyone else with CTS!!
Works well
I usually only use BiC but these are just as good of quality. They write smooth and the lead doesn't break easily. My kids were able to use them as well without constantly snapping the lead. I would recommend them.
Love these
These extra strong mechanical pencils are just that. I love them! And my 2 Elementary age daughters love them also. Thet are durable and hold up to the abuse that a young child gives to them. I have them in our homework bucket to be readily available for them to use each day and i have 2 with me at work that i love!
