Mega Disappointment
I have used Aussie Mega hairspray since middle school and LOVED it!!! I am 50 years old now. I DO NOT like the new version!! The scent is gone, it makes my hair stiff, and the sprayer makes it come out in gloppy bubbles that make your hair look wet! The new one smells like nothing!! I am begging you...

PLEASE BRING BACK OLD FORMULA! NEW ONE AWFUL!
I have used the older version formula in taller, purple can with purple lid for 15 plus years & loved everything about it. The new formula, despite being labeled, "Flexible Hold," behaves like glue, leaving hair crunchy, stiff, and weighed down. It has literally caused excessive breakage of my fine hair so I stopped using it. It also feels like it's spraying water on your hair (on top of glue!) and takes forever to dry and flattens your curls / style. I wouldn't want a can of the new formula if it was free, but I'd pay double for a can of the old one. Listen to your (ex) customers, please!
Not as good as the original
I bought the Aussie 24 HR flexible hold with Jojoba Ouls and Sea Kelp for ever. Then you switch to the new stuff and it's awful!! It's like spraying glue on your hair now. I will not be buying this product anymore. Loved the old stuff, the new stuff sucks
New formula is horrible!!!!!
I have been using this hairspray for well over a decade. The new formula is the worst ever.Absolutely awful!!!! Leaves hair sticky and very stiff.Nothing flexible about this hairspray. After all these years, I now have to find another hairspray. They definitely need to take the word flexible out of the description. It is anything but!
Used to love this, but no more!
I have used Aussie products since the 90's! I used to love the Aussie Mega flexible hairspray, but the new formula is not ok! Go back! If you have dark hair, the new formula leaves a white flakey buildup as if you have dandruff. Hold it further away and use less is NOT a solution. It is stickier and crunchier too. I kept hoping they'd fix it, but it's been too long. I'm on the hunt for a product now and not made by Aussie.
Horrible new formula! Bring back the original!
I have used this hairspray for decades and I'm absolutely disappointed that you change the formula. It is nothing like the old one at all. When are you going to start listening to your consumers that purchase your products that have so many reviews here about how awful this new formula is? Listen to us! We are the ones that purchased this from you. Stop telling us to try a different product or use different shampoo or conditioner. We all are demanding the same thing, bring the original formula back!

This new formulation product is horrible; no longer soft, flexible hold and awful spraying formula/mechanism. I have used the Aussie Mega hairspray for over 40 years. I used the old formulations as a styling tool. It is integral to how I style my hair: brushing back and forward underbrush, and blow dry to achieve a perfect lifted and layered hair bangs on my forehead. The new formulation is so heavy, stiff, and dry that it can no longer be used for styling with hold. I do not know what to do since I have not found a good replacement. You have lost a long term customer for good. I would have rated the new product as a zero if it was possible. Please bring back the prior formulation!
I miss the old Mega flexible hold hairspray!
I have used Aussie products for so long, so it's been so disappointing that you changed the formula for the Mega flexible hairspray. I really have given the new one a good try, but it makes my hair dry and yucky to the touch. The spray nozzle works terrible too. I hate to say, but I had to find a different hairspray. Please, please bring the old bottle and formula back! My hair has not been the same since.
Do NOT LIKE THE NEW CAN/FORMULA
I loved the original Aussie Mega flexible gold hair spray. The ORIGINAL CAN AND SCENT. I never used anything else. It WAS MY GO TO! Ever since the whole can change and smell/fornula, I have moved on to a different brand. Sadly. I will never buy Aussie again unless it goes back to original. 😔
New Reformulated Product is Horrible
I have used the Mega Flexible hold hairspray for many years. I have purchased 3 of the new formula and it was a waste of money! All three cans were thrown away. Spray comes out in white clumps. So disappointed with the new product. Still looking for an alternative hair spray. I would rate this a zero if I could!
It's been ruined
I have been purchasing this hairspray for years and years but with the new can it is awful. Half the time the sprayer will not work and I have to go back to the store and exchange it, also it does not work as well. I have had to switch to another brand, but I really miss the old version of this hairspray - please bring it back!
