Great Shave Stupid Container
Thanks so much for designing what is one of the best shaving jails on the market I'm experiencing great comfort and clean shaves if and when I can get into the product. It took me minutes to figure out how to apply pressure to the very awkwardly design top… Completely useless if used in the shower. You can't get leverage to dispense an appropriate amount of gel. Even when used outside of the shower, it's a chore to deliver without using both hands. I so often end up with too much gel. Regg Harris
Unusually Runny....
I usually buy Nivea Sensitive shaving Gel but on this occasion I decided to buy the 'cool' variety. The non 'cool' gel is always nice and thick and easy to use but the 'cool' version is runny and much more awkward to use. I am not sure if I have a faulty product or whether the 'cool' version is much thinner.
Great product
Having found a can of this product in my bathroom closet drawer (which I forgot about) I used it after running out of my usual Edge shave cream. Wow! What a pleasant surprise. Great product. Who knew! Will not go back to the other guys product ever again.
Pump dispenser
I have used the sensitive soothing post shave balm for years. I like the product, but do not like the bottle now. The bottle used to come with a pump dispenser, which I really liked. I would like Nivea Men to return to using the pump dispenser.
Smooth and no irritation
Perfect this to ladies, it always leaves a closer shave and there's not irritation. Also find a little goes a long way which is great. Also like that it isn't an overpowering scent.

Nivea advertises that there's no alcohol in their Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm. While that may be technically true, the second name in the list of ingredients is Isopropyl Palmitate -- which is partly derived from alcohol and over time, can end up drying the skin. Other ingredients of concern include Phenoxyethanol, potentially harmful in high amounts -- and Sodium Chloride, which offers no benefits to the skin and salt obviously will dry the skin. It's also concerning that fragrance is used in a product designed for sensitive skin. But, I will say the balm leaves my skin feeling soft and seems to last. The directions on Nivea's bottle say to "apply liberally" -- which is actually terrible advice. If used sparingly, this inexpensive after shave is quite satisfactory.

Good, could be better
Pros: light feel, not greasy at all. Nice price. Cons: glass bottle is is kind of dangerous when your hands are wet, especially with the hard-to-remove cap. (I had to buy a plastic container in order to feel comfortable and make it easier to apply.) It should really be fragrance-free.
Good product
I love this product it feels really great on the skin and I love the scent but like other people have said my only complaint is the bottle cap it is round and smooth and hard to grip sometimes when your hands are wet. I wish nivea would bring back the old caps. But other than that this is a great product.
