Conditioner that has banned ingredients in Europe

I was SO excited to get this conditioner to have a super moisturizing option to add to my routine, but then I looked at the ingredients & I'm so disappointed! I gave this conditioner 2 stars because it did make my hair feel a little silky & somewhat smooth, the packaging is cool/unique, & the condit...ioner is pretty thick, but the toxic ingredients are ridiculous & should be banned here. I can't believe companies are still making products with these toxic ingredients! It's totally unnecessary & could easily be changed! It has silicones, alcohols, fragrance, & many other bad things in it especially methylisothiazolinone (MIT). This ingredient is highly acutely toxic when applied dermally or to the eye & is considered to be corrosive. It has also been associated with allergic reactions. Lab studies on the brain cells of mammals also suggest that methylisothiazolinone may be neurotoxic. This ingredient is banned in Europe. It also contains Methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) which is a significant dermatological sensitizer. The primary side effect is allergic contact dermatitis, causing itching, redness, flaky/peeling skin, & swelling. The key side effects & reactions are: - Allergic contact dermatitis: Symptoms include redness, swelling, itchy rashes, and raised bumps. - Skin Sensitization: Known to cause severe reactions, sometimes called a "contact allergen of the year," & can lead to severe skin burns & eye damage if in high concentration. - Specific Reaction Patterns: Commonly causes hand dermatitis, eyelid swelling, & rash. This is very disturbing & extremely ridiculous! That's clearly not something I want to use on my body in any way. After using the shampoo in this collection, which also has bad ingredients, my hair felt a little like straw, but then when I put this conditioner on, it felt really silky & really coated my hair when I was rinsing it out. It's a conditioner so there's no actual lather, it just coats your hair. I feel like it's not truly moisturized though cuz it has silicones, alcohols, & all the other bad things in it. The silkiness is just an illusion. That's what silicone does in the beginning, but after awhile it can dry out your hair & make it brittle so that's not good. After I dried it, it felt fairly soft, but was still pretty frizzy & pooffy. Most regular conditioners won't stop frizz completely & if this didn't have toxic ingredients then it would be a good conditioner cuz it does take away some frizz & then with a leave in treatment like the ultra wonder spray your hair will appear smooth, soft, shiny, & silky. However, once again, that's all just an illusion and eventually your hair, & maybe your skin, will probably get damaged. Overall, I would never ever buy this conditioner & I don't want to use it with all those bad ingredients. If you don't care about harmful ingredients then this conditioner might give your hair the illusion of smoothness, but with repeated use you may find your hair dried out and brittle.
