Most prepackaged coffees are roasted WAY too dark. Luckily, this Kicking Horse coffee was more like the medium roast I've grown to expect from local roasters. The flavors are still strong and the roasting doesn't overpower. Lots of fruity chocolately flavors come through as well.

Excellent aroma and great taste. It works great for making espresso drinks and makes a lot of crema. It's perfect with a splash of milk but it's so balanced you can also enjoy it by itself. Caffeine wise I'd say it's on the average range. I didn't feel jittery but I felt the caffeine kick. A good buy for sure and I like the logo on it!

I bought this coffee to try something new. The coffee grinds well and has excellent flavor. My whole house smelled excellent as soon as I opened the bag. It was not too strong, and I felt great after one cup. I will definitely try this brand of coffee again!

i really liked this coffee very much and would probablly buy it in the future if i decide to change brands and could find it in a kcup variety at a good price.i would also share this with my family and friends

I smelled the great strong coffee smell even before I've opened the package I've received! The taste is perfect, the smell is outstanding, the power it gives me is a real productivity boost. A perfect morning start. After drinking this coffee I literally feel myself like a kicking horse! Amazing!

I love grinding my own coffee. I love the smell of freshly ground coffee. This coffee has a delicious robust coffee taste not bitter. It gave me a much needed pick me up in the morning. It taste very good.

I love the Smart Kicking Horse Coffee product. The beans are whole so you can freshly grind them. It has a nice medium dark taste that really perks me up in the morning. It has a rich taste and is very smooth. I get the energy and motivation I need drinking this each morning. It tastes really good compared to the brands we know.

When I grind this coffee, the way my house smells is amazing. The coffee is smooth tasting with no bitter after taste. I love that it is organic and it just taste so fresh. This is by far my favorite coffee I have ever had.

I'm a fanatic coffee drinker and was excited to try certified organic coffee beans as I've never tried it before. I really like the sleek design and that it has the zip tie to keep it fresh. I choose the medium roast and it has a nice aroma to it and after one cup it gives you the jumpstart you need without the need of a second cup.The beans are slightly burnt and not to oily making it work well with your machine of chose. I didn't use as much as it called for making this bag stretch without compromising the taste. I highly recommend this coffee for the kick it gives you and with every sip you get the smooth quality taste your looking for and not to mention it comes tightly sealed never compromising the freshness!
