I love these! I don't fully understand the one-star reviews; I get zero "kerosene" odor or flavor, and although they're a little sweet, they do have a little tartness too and are really great on many foods. These are sweet pickled.authentic pickled onions done but these. These are sugar bombs. If the label had said sweet pickled, I would not have bought them. I like pickled onions on tacos and to just eat as a side with many dishes. If you are used to authentic Mexican pickled onions this will not work...

mezzetta.comI typically put these on shredded pork nachos with a few other things but alot of times I'll eat them just on their own, and they're SOOOO good🤤🤤 these are the best and most versatile pickled snack!

mezzetta.comI tried a few red pickled onions brands. These are my favorite the only issue I have found was to many big pieces and alot of seeds. But I just rinse them off and no one complains.

mezzetta.comI love these! I don't fully understand the one-star reviews; I get zero "kerosene" odor or flavor, and although they're a little sweet, they do have a little tartness too and are really great on many foods. I love the little seeds and the sweet pickle brine! The little seeds are just extra crunchy yumminess. I've been putting these on cast iron chicken (the tangy sweetness from these placed on top of a smoky chicken breast and maybe topped with a little feta cheese is just Heaven!), pinto bean quesadillas, burgers, etc. I even eat them out of the jar sometimes. They're a perfect little snack. They're crisp, consistent, and flavorful. I know they might be sweeter than some brands, but I'm ok with that because sometimes the extra little sweetness on some foods is perfect! And, it DOES say "tangy and sweet" on the label and the nutrition label shows some sugar so I think it's reasonable for people to assume they might be slightly sweet. I hope this helps!

mezzetta.comI enjoy the pickled red onions on salad. A little tangy and sweet. I also use a little of the pickling juice for salad dressing, along with a little beet juice. Helps to keep the salad calories low.

mezzetta.comThese would be good onions without the little Nigella seeds. Those little seeds are not tasty and they have a weird rubbery crunch. Not what I want in my onions. I dropped this review one more start due to the fact that Mezzetta would not allow the review unless I enabled my ad blocker.

mezzetta.comI was excited to try these. Both my husband and I agreed they taste like medicine. Just a horrible flavor. Mezzetta is a name I usually can trust to be good, just not these
