I get them whenever I'm in Kelowna
Always plenty on hand when I visit the store. I'm pretty certain they don't taste like they would in Italy, but they shure are good enough for a roast beef sandwich, or a ham and Swiss sandwich for lunch. They are not too fluffy so they are substantial enough to stand up to a quick toast in the toaster oven or the microwave with plenty of fillings. They have a pretty good crust and chew. When I store them in the freezer they come out unharmed if they aren't in there too long.
Never have
I like the product, but the bakery at the Pitt Meadows location is practically empty every day; several types of bread are almost always out of stock! And when trying to talk to a man who calls himself the "manager of managers" there's a problem, but he doesn't seem at all concerned. He says his main concern is avoiding product waste. This is completely inconsistent for someone who considers himself so important to have a mentality that believes losing customers is less important than losing a few leftover loaves of bread at the end of the day. Is this the kind of training a "manager of managers" receives to represent such a large brand? Shameful.
