The Only
Definitely the only good lemon extract. Very happy with the baking results
Disappointing
I heard so many good things about this product that I decided to try it. I don't remember where I bought it earlier this year and tried it for the first time in a batch of cookies today. The product smelled like cleaning fluid, but I thought my allergies might be affecting my sense of smell. The smell got worse. I baked one pan of cookies, thinking it might mellow out. No such luck. The cookies tasted like chemicals. I had to throw out the entire batch. So, I checked the expiration date. The bottle is marked "Best if used by 08/10/19", so it wasn't outdated. I will never use another Watkins food product again.
Amazing
This pure lemon extract is a must especially for your Spring baking. Turns any white mix into a lemon flavoured cake or loaf. I love tossing in my favourite fruits (blueberries raspberries etc.) Can also be added to your icing to give it a burst of lemony goodness as well.
