Old School Pita Pastry
I'm a Greek woman who had the magnificent pleasure of a live-in YiaYia who spent hours labouring to make us the old school pitas. This pastry is just like hers. Sadly, the filling isn't even close. Krinos used to be a brand I could rely on, but I guess, just like everything else, what used to be fantastic isn't anymore. As another reviewer noted, there is barely any feta in these and the cheese they do use is meagre as well. Do better Krinos. I'm hauling out my family recipe book and making my own.
Mid but serviceable
Not enough flavour, but otherwise ok for a quick bite
Won't buy again
Hardly any feta cheese in them, bland, tasteless. Got a whole bag of them that I will probably throw out unless I can figure out how to improve them.
