Not great for baking
I have been making the same lemon cranberry recipe for decades and thought I would try these as I normally use becel in the tub. Ended up throwing them out as nobody liked them. They had a greasy feel and a strange taste to them. When the only new ingredient was the type of margarine you know it's that. Will never use again in baking. Will try it as margarine on toast to see what it's like but right now I would not ever buy this again. I liked the idea of the sticks but the recipe has to be very different than the usual becel.
The best vegan butter!!!
I have to say I have always loved Becel, but I feel like their products got even better! I love how it's a one to one alternative to dairy butter, it's so creamy and so easy to use in any recipe (or on toast of course)
Love these butter sticks.
Love these butter sticks. It's great to be able to have portioned sticks for both daily use and cooking or baking. The sticks last way longer than typical cubed butter which saves money in the end.

I don't know how to explain how unpleasant the result was and I am curious to hear if anyone else has experienced the same. The texture was very coarse, not light and tender like my original recipe. The worst was the greasy exterior of the loaf. I pressed my fingers against the outside and my fingers were shiny with oil - and - the pan I used was parchment lined not sprayed. Sorry - but this did not work for me at all with a basic recipe that I can make with my eyes shut!
No plastic!
I'm trying to avoid buy plastic and love that I can Becel in a biodegradable box. Question: Is the paper compostable or is it petroleum based wax? If you could get rid of the palm oil you could advertise this as an environmentally friendly product

I don't like it much as its not good for health, but it tastes great and is very addictive

Love the new Becel sticks. Especially melted and drizzled over popcorn! So yummy!... and a bit addictive. Lol!

Perfect & easy to use when baking but also when using it for toast or on potato's etc ….not overly salty either
