I purchased on my winching my own money. Color is great for my waterline which was what I wanted and would give 5 stars but I can't sharpen the dang thing. Complaint Regarding Scandal'Eyes Waterproof Kohl K
Dear Rimmel Customer Care Team, I have been using your Scandal'Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal eyeliner in shade 003 Brown for quite some time and have always been very happy with the product itself. However, I am extremely disappointed with the change from the original wooden pencil casing to the newer plastic-like material. The previous wooden version was very easy to sharpen, whereas the new version is incredibly difficult to sharpen properly. The casing does not sharpen smoothly, making it frustrating to use and resulting in unnecessary product wastage. I genuinely love the colour and formula, which makes this change particularly disappointing. I would really appreciate it if you could pass my feedback to your product development team and consider bringing back the original wooden casing. Could you also advise whether you recommend a specific sharpener for this new material?
WILL NOT SHARPEN!! DON"T BUY
I wish I had seen this page of reviews before I purchased this pencil as it was not inexpensive. It's not really a pencil because it can't be sharpened. I've had Rimmil eye pencils before and thought I would get a new one. I am sorry I did. The only thing 'Scandalous' about this product is that it is still on the market. It need to be pulled as is it is not fit for purpose. It will not sharpen and you only get about 2 uses out of it before it is useless. Not very environmentally friendly. I want a REFUND !
Does not sharpen!
Sadly, the same experience as others - it doesn't sharpen and is therefore short-lived and expensive, and not great for the environment as it seems to have a plastic casing.
Can't use it now
I found this the best kohl ever except I cannot sharpen it and I do not know how as I can't work it out. Some simple instructions would be very useful but until I can find out how to do this I cannot use this item anymore as it has worn down 😟
Was brilliant, now awful
I have been using this pencil for several years, loved it. I bought a new one and its useless. Rimmed has decided plastic for the pencil and its impossible to sharpen. It used to be wood. Bluddy ridiculous and a total waste of money as now I cant use it. Oh well off to find another brand to give my money too

Only lasts a month
It is a great product until you have to sharpen it - impossible and made such a mess. A waste of money as only had a month and now can't use it. What a disappointment!!

I bout this a month ago now and I looked at review before purchase about it not sharpening but trust me if you put it in the freezer form 15-20 mins it hardens the creamy formula and plastic meaning it sharpens beautifully and one tip don't press hard whist sharpening it's my go to
waterproof
cried my eyes out wearing this eyeliner whilst going through a breakup and it stayed on perfectly. even when my mascara was running, this eyeliner did not budge. 10/10
