Not enough cheese sauce
I am baking this now and did not have enough cheese sauce for last 2 layers. The first two layers I had to really spread the cheese very thin and was still not enough to cover those layers!!! Cheese sauce needs to be doubled!

An amazing and easy dinner!
This quickly rose to the top of our favorite dinners from Old El Paso. We ended up having different toppings as dips for the meal (guacamole, salsa, sour cream) and could not stop talking about it for a few days after.
Classic Shrinkflation
These taco bake kits used to say to to mix half the cheese sauce into the beef, but at some point they started providing less sauce and changed the instructions to only add sauce on top at the end. Another sneaky way to provide less while charging more.

I seem to remember when i first bought this kit some years ago the cheese sauce was added to the meat right right after you cooked instead of adding to the layers like now. I see a lot of people say there is not enough cheese sauce in the kit maybe this is why. I am making one tonight thin i am gonna try adding refried beans to the layers or on one of them.

We love the soft taco bake kit, perfect for two people and we have leftover for a lunch. Easy and Tasty. Problem .. it's very difficult to find stocked in our local stores.
