I LOVED Nivea soft. Then Nivea changed the formula to a vegan version. Now it's less moisturising and noticeably tacky on the skin. After doing my best to get used to it, I'm trying alternatives like cerave and others.

I have been using the plain white tubs of Nivea soft cream for years as it was the only affordable cream that was gentle enough to not upset my skin barrier. I went to London and thought I'll pick up a Nivea soft cream as my last tub had run out. I could only buy the new tub which has the green mark on it indicating it's a new formula, apparently the plain white tubs were not being sold any more. I opened it and noticed the smell was not the same as the previous version, it smelt like a stronger perfumed scent. I had nothing else so used a small amount at night. My skin felt instantly cold, then tingly, then I felt burning and upon looking in the mirror my face looked burning red and I could feel my skin barrier was irritated. The skin was not looking or feeling moisturized like before. I had used nothing else on my skin at that time. So now I can't use Nivea soft cream until they change the formula back. I don't want a 'vegan' skin cream. I want the cream I have been using to stay the same. I have been told by people that in other European countries only the new green marked tub is available and others are suffering the same burning effect as me from it.

I used the old formula throughout my life and it was my favorite cream, now with this new formula it irritates my skin and my friends who used it said the same thing. I think Nivea should bring back the old formula alongside the vegan to bring back the customers that stopped using soft cream at the formula change

I LOVE the new fórmula!!! I was never able to use the old one. I read some of the reviews that the new fórmula leaves some with dry skin, i also experince that however, i dipped a cotton ball in filter cool water and patted it all over my face and I re do it until my face looks moist and then apply Nivea with a cotton swab in a circular motion. I promise you my way you won't have any of them burning, dryness, et cetera issues.

I have been using Nivea Soft for 30 years, just after it was released. This new formula is extremely bad though. Runny, watery, doesn't absorb well, doesn't moisturise well. Please change it back, I'm struggling to find another brand as good as Soft used to be. You ruined it.

I have been using this product for years and I bought the new formula recently and it is horrible on my skin. Leaves my skin dryer and does not provide with the same amount of moisture. I have to use additional products to produce a similar effect I had with the previous formula. I really wish the old formula came back.

I love nivea soft. It has transformed my skin. I am 40 and after a few days use my skin looks like it used to in my 20s. I live in santa fe new mexico and it is so dry here that my skin changed after moving here. I feel like my old self again. I don't know what these other reviews are talking about! So glad 😊 I purchased this. Its worth mentioning that the original formula leaves me feeling slick and greasy whereas this absorbs into the skin.

New formula seems to give this mild burn feeling on the face. After it absorbs it doesn't feel moisturized it feels like a thin layer of tight wax on your face is all i can describe it as.

Products no longer perform as well as they did before changing to a vegan recipe. My advice is to at least offer both varieties to keep everyone happy.

I have used Nivea Soft for years and swore by it but as soon as I opened the latest pot I could see and feel how much thinner it was. My skin now starts to feel dry again within an hour of using it. Don't know what I'm going to do now - need to find another product that actually moisturises. Or PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!
