Once upon a time, about 45 minutes ago, my daughter and I made these cookies. We followed the instructions and put some of the cookies on a silver baking tray and some on a darker baking tray. We read the online reviews for the cookies while ours baked and laughed at some of the reviews. When the timer went off, I took them out of the oven. My daughter took them off the trays. The ones on the darker tray burned on the bottom. We won't use that tray next time. But the silver tray ones were perfect! The hearts didn't really come out great (more like red and pink blobs), but the taste was ok. And the size of the cookies is great. (Only Mimis who drive into ditches like big cookies anyway.)

Recently bought 4 boxes of these to stock up for the season because my family loves them and they must have changed the recipe because they are HORRIBLE! Taste extremely bland and are crunchy instead of chewy like they used to be. These cookies have always been a holiday staple in my house and I loved the nostalgic taste of them but unfortunately, they taste so bad now that I will not be buying them ever again. Extremely disappointed in what was done to this once amazing cookie.
