Prefer old hydrating cleanser.
Please bring back original hydrating cleanser. It was the only thing that worked for my skin. This one burns. It is not for sensitive skin.

new formula has got my chest and back breaking out in a frenzy. would give zero stars if i could.
Not for Sensitive Skin
Like other reviewers here, I regularly purchased the previous incarnation of this ultra-gentle cleanser. The new version is not hypoallergenic, as others have noted. Within a few moments of using this product, I developed a stinging, burning, and itchy rash. Almost 24 hours later, it is still painful, itchy, and very red. When I purchased this product, it came packaged as a two-bottle deal. Needless to say, both bottles are going straight in the bin.
Keep trying - close but not perfect.
I bought this product to replace the discontinued ultra gentle daily cleanser, creamy fragrance free. While I do find the product's creaminess and general feel very pleasant it seems to have an slightly unpleasant aroma which the previous product did not have. Perhaps there are no perfumes in it but it still is not fragrance-free. Sadly, I prefer the discontinued cleanser.
Please bring back old creamy formula
Please bring back ultra gentle hydrating creamy cleanser!!!! Its the only cleanser my skin tolerated well. The creamy cleanser is so gentle and with few ingredIents. This new vers and formula is making my skin dry and itchy. Please please bring back the old creamy formula. Thank you
Why change the formula
I'veI've been using the Neutrogena ultra gentle cleanser for several months and I loved it and then I went to buy another bottle and noticed it was a new formula . bought it and now my face is breaking out. I will not buy this again.
nOT A suitable replacement for hydrating formula!
like so many here, i used the hydrating formula. Was told this is the replacement, so tried, even though foaming formulas are known to be more drying. And, guess what. it is Way more drying and irritating. how does a skincare brand not offer a non-foaming formula ?????? fortunately, all of your competitors do, so i'm reluctantly leaving neutrogena after decades of use.
Not "new" is Watered down old product!
I buy this facial cleanser on regular basis. last week I noticed the "new" label on bottle. it claims to be "extra gentle" when in fact it is just watered down product. I am very DISAPPOINTED to pay for a product i now have to use more of. Shame on neutragena.
bring back the creamy formula
I have been using the Ultra Hydrating creamy face wash for many years now. Now they stopped making it. This creamy to foaming wash all it did was irritate my skin made it very dry and itchy. Why did they stop this facial wash?? A lot of reviews say they want it back. Please bring it back. I'm in my 70's and now I have to find something else to wash my face with.
