nOT A suitable replacement for hydrating formula!
like so many here, i used the hydrating formula. Was told this is the replacement, so tried, even though foaming formulas are known to be more drying. And, guess what. it is Way more drying and irritating. how does a skincare brand not offer a non-foaming formula ?????? fortunately, all of your competitors do, so i'm reluctantly leaving neutrogena after decades of use.
Not "new" is Watered down old product!
I buy this facial cleanser on regular basis. last week I noticed the "new" label on bottle. it claims to be "extra gentle" when in fact it is just watered down product. I am very DISAPPOINTED to pay for a product i now have to use more of. Shame on neutragena.
bring back the creamy formula
I have been using the Ultra Hydrating creamy face wash for many years now. Now they stopped making it. This creamy to foaming wash all it did was irritate my skin made it very dry and itchy. Why did they stop this facial wash?? A lot of reviews say they want it back. Please bring it back. I'm in my 70's and now I have to find something else to wash my face with.

I loved it was grate Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Cream-to-Foam Cleanser did good stuff to my skin it's amazing to put on my skin.
Bring back the old formulas
I am disappointed. The old version of this was the only cleanser i could use that didn't irritate my face - ultra gentle hydrating cleanser. I dont know what im going to use now.
use caution
i bought this because i have extremely SENSITIVE skin and used it only one time and had a very immediate reaction. My skin was stinging and burning and red and i still have a rash on my neck from this cleanser. Be careful if you have extremely sensitive skin. this product is not 100% hypoallergenic as the label suggests. (not sure why this is in all caps, my caps lock is off)
Disappointing
I bought this product two days ago and despite many attempts haven't been able to get the pump dispenser to work. I'm not impressed with the product and won't buy it again. it's irrelevant whether the cleanser itself I works or not if one can't access it.

Not a fan of this cleaner. I am 72 and this ACTUALLY broke my face out. I gave it 2 weeks. Now i am on the look for a face cleanser again. I have used this brand since the 1970's and never ever had a proBlem. I had high hopes for this cleanser.
Face cleanser
I really like this cleanser and have already bought a second one. After the first time use I saw a noticeable difference in my skin. It was cleaner I didn't have any buildup. My face wasn't dry.
