Great features
I have used many mechanical pencils and never liked them until i purchased and tried this BIC Velocity Original Mechanical Pencil, It is very comfortable to hold with the comfort grip, I found the lead to be very strong not breaking every other word, They write dark and is easy to see the print. Smooth writing, but not perfect
This is a good pencil. It writes very smooth, refills easily, and has a good feel. The colors are also bright which makes the pencil look nice. The writing is better than most mechanical pencils I have tried, including other Bic, Zebra, and Cross brands. There is no drag as you are writing which I h...

Excellent pencils...especially the .9mm lead
I love these for the wood shop. The .9mm lead is tough enough for lots of marking. Cannot find eraser refills. No one seems to make a 6mm diameter eraser. WHY WHY WHY?
Can't buy eraser refills
Love the pencils. However, I found individual lead refill packs, but cannot find any packs of just eraser refills. They only sell the erasers with new pencils. This is a complaint of a lot of customers and BIC has yet to fix the issue.
very good
this is a very good and comes quick not to long to wait dosent break got lots of lead
Eraser FAQ
What is that plastic cap thing on top of the eraser?
Inexpensive, Lead AND Eraser Refills plus...
I was happy about an adorable little case that encapsulates the pencil lead and eraser refills but ecstatic when I discovered the eraser has a cap on it too. The design and little extras that Bic provides with this mechanical pencil are just what someone like me needs. Perfect for the people in your life who are neat freaks, highly organized, and even those who have OCD. LOVE IT!
Bad pencils
I hated it because the eraser is worth of crap it is bad
Awesome
Super comfortable and the lead lasts a really long time
Great Grip!
I absolutely love these pencils! I have trouble with my fine motor skills and the extra width on the barrel is exactly what I need. I like that my writing is nice and bold But still easy to erase. This is my third time buying them. I just wish that they were available and more colors. Hopefully they will start making more of their products available in this size.
Like the bigger size
I really like the bigger size of these and find it easier on my hand to use them. Can you buy just a refill pack of erasers for these without buying more pencils?
