Not for gray hair
I was looking for a brand that wasn't harsh and this was one that was recommended. I've used this color twice. Both times it came out a really dark brown but whatever. What really upsets me is that it doesn't cover some grays and others it just just leaves lighter so either way the gray is noticeable. I thought this would be better then the Natural instincts and it was to a point as that left splotches.
Damage
Beautiful color but caused damage and hair loss! Also my grays came out much lighter than the rest of my hair, but not in a good way like highlights
Disappointed
Bought the Carmel blonde bold and bright and it did not cover the grey. Very disappointed.
Turned out black
Used the passion violet dye hoping for a nice purple. My hair turned out black… LIKE PITCH BLACK… the purple does not show up only under direct flashlight from behind. Now I have to find out how to get my hair lighter again

Very good quality
I used shade 50. I have very damaged hair that I was looking to go closer to my natural/ a nice chocolate medium brown. I was looking through the options at the store and have had issues with many brown dyes looking inky and fake and then stripping them out and damaging my hair more. I decided to try clairol bold and bright because the swatches looked exactly like what I was going for. Using the product was easy, had everything I needed and had a very light smell that did not burn my eyes or nose, also no burning of my scalp. The product washed out well and left my damaged hair looking healthier. The color is spot on for what I was going for. Shade 50 is the perfect chocolate brown color, just like the box. I will see how long it lasts but for now this is a wonderful product and I will be rebuying when needed. I am very pleased with the quality.

Great box dye!
Easy to use and follow the instructions. Color was vibrant and left my hair shiny and soft. Scent was not chemically or overpowering, it was pleasant. Packaging was simple and overall the product was effective, I would recommend
