Benylin Regular Strength Cough and Chest Congestion Syrup, 100 mL, is specially formulated to work in your chest to help clear out congestion while helping to suppress your cough. Its soothing properties help soothe your throat. Get fast, effective relief of cough with phlegm, chest congestion while soothing your throat. Each 5 mL or 1 teaspoonful (tsp.) contains 15 mg of cough suppressant Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide to help control dry cough and 100mg of expectorant Guaifenesin to relieve chest congestion. For Adult and children 12 and over only. Shake well before using. Use 2 tsp. (10 mL) every 6 hours for a maximum of 8 tsp. (40 mL) a day. Be unshakeable with Benylin.

BeneLyn cough & chest congestion. Used the product for almost a week with no results yet. I'm not sure what else to say. It was suggested by my Pharmacist. Thank you What do you want me to say. I don't want to say anything bad, because I only been using for 5/6 days.

Very strong side effects

benylin.caI started taking this product a couple days ago. Immediate results were dry throat, dizzy, lose of voice and after couldn't sleep for the entire night. The product should probably mention the side effects that are quite strong. I stopped taking it as I still am congested. It did help the cough though. Quite disappointed for a product of a brand with this renown.
Terrible product does more harm than good

benylin.caMy whoel house hold had the flu and this medication sounded like the perfect solution as a way to combat that. Over the course of 2 weeks 4 people tried the medication and each after taking it developed horrible head aches/migraines, directions where follow and no one had any issue that should cause problem with this medication as our household is free of any special medical/mental problems.

benylin.caI had a chesty cough for days and I could feel inside that phlegm had built up on my lungs, but it was lodged. 15 mins after taking the mucous and phlegm and cough control I had coughed up a lot of thick phlegm and I felt instant relief! This product works and did the job it was designed to do. It is very pricey to buy it in stores, but it was worth it because it corrected the problem
Old bottle

benylin.caI took 1 teaspoon and my coughing of phlegm stopped for now. I do have chills and body aches and they seem to be subsiding a bit. It's an old bottle that was 80% full. It's probably 2 years old. No heart palpatations no black thoughts. I am 59 without heart problems and Iam a nonsmoker. I feel fine other than body aches, coughing has stopped as I write this recommendation.
