I started feeding the large breed puppy food to her when she started refusing the food her breeder had started her on. I tried several brands and she liked this one best. She has since transitioned to the adult large breed food. She often leaves the small bits in her bowl ( and scattered on the floor)I She definitely picks out the larger pieces. This is the only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars. I do worry that she is missing out on necessary nutrients because of it.

I researched quite a bit into fry dog foods for my dog when he was a puppy and I wanted something that had chicken as the first ingredient and could be found at most stores and blue buffalo was a great choice! I started my dog off on Baby Blue (their puppy brand) and moved him up to this as an adult. He loved it and gets very excited for meal time! His fur is soft and he seems to prefer this food over others I've had to use in a pinch so I highly recommend this for large dogs that need some more calories in their diet. My vet recommended a large breed food because of my dogs weight and size and since he gets lots of activities in!

Our dogs vary from xs to LG and they all eat this food. It must taste good bc they gulp it down like it's filet mignon. It's nutritional and it keeps them all consistent weight wise. I believe it is worth the switch over from other foods. My girl has an allergy that we cannot pinpoint but since I switched her from dog chow to this it has lessened. Couldn't hurt to try it with your pups

We weren't much of a Blue Buffalo family before, but our vet recommended this and said it'd be great for our lab mix and Great Pyrenees mix. They are happy, and eat it well without hesitation twice a day, and have for years. They maintain energetic lifestyles, and have never had stomach issues. We also use BB treats, but always read the ingredients first.

I bought this after thinking my baby girl was not doing so well. I took her to the vet and was told she needed to lose weight. I looked up the best foods for senior dogs to lose weight, and came across Blue Buffalo. Missy is losing weight little by little. The best part, is she has gotten more energy and began playing and running around again! Her fur is shiny. It's like she's herself again!

My gentle giant who is half Newfie and half chocolate lab, is picky with her kibble. I chose this large breed food at first (the puppy kind when she was little) just to make sure she was getting enough bone and joint support and continued into adulthood with the adult large breed food. Anytime I've ever strayed out of convenience for me I notice her tummy and skin don't agree with it and she just doesn't want to eat it! Nova gives two paws up and mom gives two thumbs up!

Our chunky loves blue buffalo food and treats. He is a rottie blue nose pit mixed he is on the small.side an we started him.on this food about a week.ago and he just loves it so much. Bought Boo bite treats for Halloween for him.he at the whole bag in just a few days. I can't wait to try more of the blue buffalo products

Have been feeding this to my dog for years, and she loves it. Good value and (apparently) good taste. Will continue to buy Blue Buffalo and recommend it.

I have fed this recipe since my dog was a puppy and recommended it to my mother when she got her puppy recently. I love that the recipe is available in large breed puppy and large breed life protection. It really saves the struggles of acclimation your new puppy to a new food as they grow up. Even better my dog has always loved it. Occasionally he won't eat right away however that has completely changed when I began adding the duck grill trays from blue buffalo.

I can not find this large breed healthy dog food dog in ant stores. Have you stop making this flavor
