Curious kids try to get into anything and everything, but the Safety 1st OutSmart™ Multi Use Lock helps you keep them out with the first ever decoy button. Your child will think that the decoy button opens the lock, but pushing on it has no effect. You’ll know that the flexible surface hides the actual secret to opening the lock. This multi-use lock prevents your little explorer from getting into a variety of appliances and can be used to secure cabinets. It is easily attached with an adhesive and is removable when the lock is no longer required.

It's a great product but not for my 5 year old with prader-willi syndrome he just pulled and pulled on it and adhesive just gave I had it on the fridge so he won't get in it because that's his condition he gets food from anywhere so decided to try this one it was good it lasted like for one month w...ell almost a month but it was so good I just didn't buy anymore because he kept breaking them so if you fixed it he Civ on it like make them stronger I will buy tons of it cuz I need to get my son out of the fridge and my cupboards and everything where I have food . I'm so desperate and finding something that will work for my child he has an obsessive food consumption and I'm desperate and trying to get control of it because he just five years old and already weighing 86lb it's hard very hard so please make something with a stronger adhesive or something completely new that will stay strong and stay put even if they pull and yank and everything thank you very much but I do love your product I still have them anyways I have to be buying them every month or so to replace them
I got this product thinking that maybe, just mAybe it would finally be able to keep my daughter from constantly getting in the refrigerator. I have tried so many different kinds.... I put this on my fridge, without her in the room, and the little turf came right in and opened the fridge in 2 seconds...! She got it to unlock, and the adhesive on the pad gave way immediately. I am so disappointed!

safety1st.com/It's a good idea. I installed it on my fridge. Useless after two weeks. The adhesive didn't hold, so I replaced it, as I had purchased a two-pack. Second one lasted a week. Since the plastic under the adhesive isn't solid, it can't be glued on.

safety1st.com/I loved the concept behind the item, the adhesive unfortunately doesn't stick for long. My 1 year old ripped it right off.

safety1st.com/I loved the concept, but unfortunately the adhesive just didn't hold up and my two year old ripped it off after a couple of days. I need something strong for our sliding back door.

safety1st.com/In theory this is a great idea.... but if the adhesive doesn't stick they are useless. I installed these in lazy Susan corner cabinets, and worked great for to secure the motion this type of cupboard. Too bad the the most important feature of the product failed, the adhesive.

safety1st.com/I have tried about 4 different types of saftey straps but my husband and I keep coming back to this one. We absolutely love these straps. Super easy to install and use. I have a four year old and 14 month old. Both kids were able to destroy all the other straps but not these. My 4 year old knows how to put these together but doesn't quite have the pincher grip to undo them yet, which is great for keeping him safe. My 14 month tries pulling on them but the adhesive doesn't bust like the other brands I tried. When our fridge one came undone after 3 years of use, my husband just replaced the adhesive and it has lasted another year. They also don't leave any damage when removing them, as we used them in an apartment. Just make sure to clean and fully dry your surface before applying the adhesive. We have been searching stores for these but they always seem out.

safety1st.com/I really love the concept of this product but the adhesive didn't last 2 days even after following all the directions. Is there a way to order replacement adhesive?

safety1st.com/Disregard my previous review. It was my 'operator' error. I look at the pic to install instead of applying my critical thinking skills. Just put the push button release on the side of the fridge....problem solved. My bad. It's a great product

safety1st.com/The strap is too short! Did the engineers take into account that there might be a door handle attached to the refrigerator door and it's difficult to unlatch the lock with a handle in the way?
