My male cats was overweight at 20 lbs, within three years of using this cat food he's is at his goal weight of 13 lbs and so playful and back to his usual self!!! Both of my cats love the food as well! I'm so grateful.

balanced food at an affordable price
The food is of very decent quality, small to medium sized granules. The food contains the necessary vitamins and microelements. For the money, this food is simply a godsend; the Bengal cat eats it with pleasure. effective food, I would like a zip lock on the package.

Cats love it
Feed it to my cat and have been feeding it to my cats my whole life. I can always count on Iams to deliver a good product my cats enjoy and don't throw up.
One hairball in his whole life
Oliver (my cat) loves iams he started with the kitten food and is now eating this one. He loves it, the ingredients aren't half bad and he has had ONE hairball ever.
Good
Only one my picky cat eats. This really helps his fur and hairball issues. Prior to this, he had a lot of issues with that. The ingredients are good, as meat is the first ingredient.
Made all three cats sick & killed one of them
We bought the chicken and turkey bag about 10 days ago for our three cats. Immediately after our elderly 15 year old cat ate some of this, she started vomiting consistently, then lost her appetite and refused to eat or drink any liquids. She became lethargic, had trouble walking around, couldn't make it to her litter box anymore, and ultimately became catatonic and was put down. Our other two cats, who are 9 and 1, also ate some of this. They started vomiting shortly after as well. We swapped out the food for something else, and they're doing much better now. This is completely negligent and irresponsible for a company to continue marketing a product that has induced known and sometimes life threatening and catastrophic health issues witnessed by numerous cat owners dating all the way back to 2018. I have cross-checked reviews for this product on other resellers' sites, and people are reporting the same things about their cats: refusal to eat, diarrhea, vomiting, and having to visit the vet due to extreme health issues.
Good choice
My cat loves this food! She's never had hairballs. And it doesn't smell gross like some other cat food options. She is pretty chunky but I can't help over feeding her cute face lol
Cat food
This food definately has helped my female cat with hair balls. She over grooms and often throws up. I do notice now that maybe this happens once a month compared to it happening almost daily before.
Picky cat loves it!
My cat is very picky and rarely eats anything else! She's always stayed at a perfectly healthy weight while on this food and she has no issues with hairballs at all! She moved over from her kitten food to this one perfectly fine. I recommend!

I received Iams Proactive Health Indoor Weight & Hairball Managenent in exchange for an honest review. Well, my great grandkittie loves this food. Obviously for the taste, me... not so much. I like it for the fact that it is vet recommended (also from my vet too). The product is made in the USA from quality ingredients. How could you ask for anything more? Well, it also helps control his weight and there are no fillers in this prodict. I went out and bought other Iams flavors as it is now a new staple in our pet home. Thanks, Iams, for offering great products for the feline in our family.
