Factors, such as a dog's metabolism, breed size, activity level, age and whether the dog is spayed or neutered, will affect the amount of Purina ONE needed to maintain an ideal body condition. The pet experts at Purina have provided the feeding amounts indicated as a starting point. If you find that your dog is losing weight or becomes overweight when fed these amounts, please adjust accordingly. To help your dog maintain an ideal body condition, monitor your dog's weight on a regular basis, making sure that their ribs are easily felt and their waist is visible when viewed from above. Maintaining an ideal body condition can impact your dog's lifelong health. Disappointed in a project we trusted for 2 years
My boy has been eating Purina One lamb and rice for 2 years. We knew he was allergic to chicken, and that is why we depended on your product. Recently he took to a major reaction that has cost us alot of money. We keep him on a strick diet because of this. A food that his diet relied on for years let him down, a simple small tag distribution stating an ingredient change could have prevented ours and so many dogs from their chicken allergy. I, myself work for a corporate company and know that it 100% could/should have been done. This really shows your business integrity and that the animals you feed don't really matter to you.
Affordable/Quality Food
This food is not only an affordable food but its also of good quality. The only downside is when purchasing a large bag(40 lbs) and storing in an air tight container, by the time we get to the end the tender bits are a little dry. But our large dog loves it.
My dog loves this food
This is the 3rd or 4th adult dog food I have tried! My Golden Retriever Chloe loves it!! It's a bit on the high price side, but it has good reviews, and she will eat it without sticking up her nose!!

Good dog food doesn't make her sick, she is so active so it's hard to keep weight on her and this actually fattened her up a little bit!
