When my first son was born I used the Phillips avent bottles, but switched to a narrower bottle and nipple after struggling with feeding issues— my son had a lip and tongue tie. My second son was born this past May (2022) and was a completely different experience. He likes to exclusively breast fe...ed and I have struggled with introducing a bottle. I received the Phillips Avent bottle and natural response nipple set from the Steller Product Testing Panel and decided to give them a go — and my son took right to them! There are a couple things I love about the bottles— first off, they are glass making them easy to clean and ultimately look more sanitary then the plastic ones after a few uses. Secondly, less parts to clean and keep track of! These bottles come with 4 parts and that is including a cap. My other bottles have 6 because of the anti colic vent inside that has to be dismantled and cleaned. 7 if you count the little disk that keeps the bottle from spilling. This leads me to the third plus about these bottles being that they have an anti leak nipple so no disk needed! As for the nipples, my son usually needs a lot of coaxing to latch and take a bottle. He will repeatedly detach and try to root. When I introduced the bottle he had no problem latching or staying latched. He appeared comfortable and remained latched for his full feeding. I am definitely looking forward to the freedom these bottles will provide me with other family members being able to take part in feeding him! The only thing I will say is that the glass bottle is a little heavier and I would worry about it being flung if he tries to feed himself but, overall there are so many positives about this set. I would highly recommend and will definitely not be using anything else.
I wanted to use glass bottles to avoid micro plastics leaching into the milk. The glass bottle is heavy and has air pockets ( which makes glass prone to breakage). I called the customer care and they said that the air pockets wouldn't impact the efficiency. I feel that the glass molding is pathetic..., I have seen roadside glassware which looks better than these bottles. ( Compare to Other brands like Dr browns and u will see the difference, those are light weight borosilicate bottles without air pockets, I cannot use them because of their complex green colored air vent system otherwise I wouldn't use Philips.) Additionally, the new nipples are bad. I tried so many levels and wasted money. Go online and you can read so many reviews against these new natural response nipples and I am surprised that Philips is turning a blind eye to those comments and doing nothing about it. I have no issues with leakage so far. My baby loves the original natural nipples and I ordered original natural nipples from Asia as I can't find them easily in North America. I would not recommend these bottles if u have other options. Tommy tippee and Dr browns glass quality is far superior.
I like the wide neck & glass aspect of the bottle however I very much dislike the amount of ounces my son has worn due to the horrible leaking issues these bottles have. Even when the airflow vent is matched up the bottle still ends up all over him. Only ever hand washed the bottles so expected a better outcome.
Constantly leak and I had to stop using one bottle completly bc the threads were not right and the lid wouldn't screw on correctly kinda bummed bc I expected more out of a bottle that is as expensive as they are.

philips.comI chose a 1 star because the only thing I like about these bottles are that they are glass. The nipples are so hard for my newborn to suck that she can't get any milk out and wears herself out so much that she just sleeps and won't eat enough. I bought what I thought would be enough bottles so that we could use just the Philips Avent bottles and also newborn and size 3 nipples. My newborn can't even suck the milk out of the size 3 nipples. Now I am scrabbling trying to find a nipple that will fit the glass bottles and a nipple that she can easily drink out of. I wish I wouldn't have bought these bottles at all.
Why do these bottles leak so badly??? It's almost impossible to get the lid on perfectly straight but even if you do they might still leak. We've been drenched so many times. So much wasted breast milk. The lid can be screwed on all the way, you can test it and still end up with milk leaking from where it screws on. They're good besides that but this is a horrible flaw. I've bought multiple packages and they all do it. This should not be a thing! Fix this!! After 5 months I've had enough, I'll be switching bottles.

philips.comMy husband and I have been using the Philips Avent Glass Natural 8 oz bottle for a few weeks now after receiving it from Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it's easily one of the best we've tried. First off, it looks and feels super high-end — the glass is thick, sturdy, and has a nice weight to it (not too heavy though). You can just tell it's well-made, and something about the glass just makes me love the slick look as well! It holds up great to heat — we've warmed it, sterilized it, run it through the dishwasher — and it still looks brand new. No weird smells or warping like some plastic bottles we've used before. It feels really safe using it daily! The nipple is soft and shaped really naturally, and our baby was able to pace himself with the flow — no choking or spilling. For now, the flow rate is just right, but it's nice knowing we can switch to a faster one later. What we love most is that it's very easy to clean, feels totally safe, and works great for both breast and bottle feeding. If you're looking for a high-quality glass bottle that's safe and baby-friendly, this one's a win, and baby approved!

philips.comI received the Phillips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle to test as part of the Stellar Review Panel. My favorite thing about the bottles is that they're glass. We definitely wanted ti stay away from all plastic bottles when feeding our baby, even the ones that say "BPA free" because these known compounds are being replaced by others that can be even more harmful. Glass is safe and non-porous and that was the most important thing for us. It is a sturdy glass and didn't break even after being dropped from a few feet multiple times onto LVP. I like that the bottle is contoured because it makes it easy to hold. The bottle has a good weight to it but it wasn't too heavy for my 8 month old baby to hold herself. It stood up well to cleaning, warming and sterilizing. None of the volume markings looked like they were fading and it was easy to read how full it was in ounces and in milliliters. We also received the Avent Natural Response Nipples to test with the bottle and my baby did well with the combo even as a mostly breastfed baby. The collar of the bottle is a wide base so it can be used with other wide base nipples if needed, which increases the versatility of the product. Overall, we loved the Phillips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle and will continue to use it when our baby needs to be bottle fed.

philips.comWe thoroughly enjoyed testing the Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle, as part of the Stellar product testing panel! The glass bottle was made incredibly well, leading the bottle to be visibly durable. My baby was really able to grasp on to the bottle without any slipping. It also seemed to hold its warmer temperature better than your average plastic bottle. I was much more likely to use the bottle around the house, because traveling with them makes it a little more tricky. You just have to make sure they are secure inside a diaper bag so they are not at risk for breaking. Some mothers carry bottles in the front or side pockets depending on the insulated pockets, but I didn't feel it would be a secure enough option for the glass. The first bottle I received did have a crack in it, because it wasn't secure enough during transit. Other than that I thought it was a great bottle choice. It's definitely a little heavier than plastic, however that goes hand and hand with the durability of the product! I would definitely reccomend it to a friend.

philips.comI really love that this bottle is a glass option as we avoid plastic baby bottles. The markings are clear and easy to read and the glass is thick and durable. It doesn't feel like that thin glass that shatters so easily. The first con for us is the cap cover as it can be pretty hard to snap or twist off. The grandparents who watches our baby during the day had a very difficult time getting it off. The biggest con is the leaking! So this didn't happen every time but when it did it leaked so much and caused such a mess on everyone. If you're a pumping mom then you know the pain you feel when even the slightest amount of breastmilk goes to waste! It seems to leak because the collar isn't screwed on correctly but it can be hard to tell as it looks even and tight. Sometimes I'll keep unscrewing it and screwing it back on and it'll still leak and it can be so frustrating when you have a hangry baby. The nipple shape also wasn't ideal for my breastfeeding baby. Our lactation consultant explained that the slope wasn't gradual enough so it didn't mimic the breast where the baby has to open wide. With the inconsistent leaking as the biggest issue I would not recommend this bottle as there are better glass bottles on the market. I received this bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

philips.comI did receive this product as part of the Stellar product testing panel and was very excited to try it out! Love this glass option if you're wanting to avoid plastics. I've used their plastic bottles in the past so loved that the their offering another option. I found the quality to be great and very easy to clean. My mostly breastfed 6 month old baby had no issues drinking from the nipple, the size and flow of the milk seemed intuitive which is what I want when not nursing. Gave 4 stars because it's a little on the heavy side, naturally, being glass as opposed to its plastic counterpart. But overall very happy with it and will switch my plastic ones to the glass. I will be getting a silicone sleeve for the glass bottle to hopefully help avoid it breaking if/when dropped.
