They Ruined the Formula!

Bring back original formula!

Loved this lotion but...
Loved this lotion but do not like the changes made to it. Total waste of my money
Coco smell? Nope
Smell is not chocolatey at all anymore. Immediate smell of acetone, followed by sunscreen, and then maybe *maybe* a small coco smell. It's unfortunate because I was ready for a wave of nostalgia (my mother), but instead was hit with this.

Broke me into a rash
I was hoping to use this lotion after another brand's cocoa butter body lotion was discontinued. Unfortunately I broke out into hives on my arms and legs after the first use. I had no prior known skincare or fragrance allergies and do not have sensitive skin, so I was surprised and disappointed by the bad reaction.
Reformulated as of February 2025
I'm so disappointed that they changed the formula of this product without notifying consumers on the label. This has been my holy grail body and hand moisturizer for 10+ years and I've recommended it to countless people but cannot any longer. It used to sink in rapidly and moisturize so well, now my skin feels dry again after a few minutes and it feels like there's a film on my skin, like so many other subpar products on the market. If you compare the ingredients you can see that they've removed the shea butter and isopropyl palmitate, along with many other changes. Good product for daily use
I use this daily on my face and do not have any issues with it, it doesn't make me break out and I'm assuming in 20 years I'll look youthful and wrinkle free. I love the smell of cocoa butter so that's also a win for me.

Good Smell
This lotion has a pleasant scent and absorbs well into my skin, particularly during colder months. It's an excellent moisturizer, effectively hydrating, nourishing, and revitalizing dry skin. I'm very pleased with the improved formula and fragrance.
