So, as I had written about Kristin Ess's curl shampoo, I have curly hair and regularly use a Co-wash in place of shampoo and conditioner. I thought that this conditioner would have plenty of slip and would feel ultra conditioning, but unfortunately this conditioner didn't have enough slip for my cur...ly hair texture and it didn't feel like it was giving my hair as much moisture as I'm use to. Though I did like that this conditioner was very thick and did coat my hair nicely. As I stated in my Kristin Ess curl shampoo review, I tried the Kristin Ess curl shampoo, this conditioner, and also the leave-in conditioner, along with a gel that I regularly use the first time that I used these products and my curl definition was almost non existent. The second time I used all 3 of the Kristin Ess curl products, I also used my goto leave in conditioner, my goto curl activator and my goto gel and I did notice that I got curl definition, but I didn't get the curl definition that I usually get when using my Co-wash and goto products. Also, the conditioner did not leave my hair feeling any softer and smooth than my goto Co-wash does, but on the plus side, the conditioner did not weight my curls down. I loved the packaging, but I won't buy this specific product in the future, there are far better curl conditioners on the market that don't look as fancy, but work much better. Also, this product has the same scent as the shampoo, strong at first, but it grows on you.
