Fast drying
I tested this color with 2 coats and then because it's labeled as special effects, I tried to see if a design would work… it did not work. I will say it dries faster then the last time I've used Essie and that was years ago! So I give it a good rating for faster drying and it would make a good color...

best nail polish!
i love this nail polish! It doesn't chip easy, and drys super fast!! It's super shiny and easy to apply! It stays on for a while too! I use this every time I paint my nails!!! 10/10
Didnt like it
Not the best nail polish. It takes hours to dry and it stays soggy. There's a bit of shine but not at all like the advertised. Lasts almost a couple of days before chipping.
Pretty subtle chrome
The Essie Cosmic Chrome is a beautiful color that went on easily and dries really fast. It is not a hard chrome that you may think but it has a subtle shine. I'll update with how durable and chip resistant it is.

The left is without the cosmic chrome topcoat, the right is with. You can see it's a subtle difference over an existing nail polish color. It's lasted 8 days without much chipping. It goes on lightly over another color and just changes it slightly. I added a clear top coat over it just to make sure it stays. I do like this cosmic chrome topcoat and it will look nice over a variety of colors. Essie is great quality nail polish.

Love this nail polish it goes on very nice and shines bright. The only thing I noticed is it's a clear coat almost. I thought this would be more silver but it wasn't.

So lovely and shiny! I tried it just on its own and it definitely needs multiple coats, but also could be fun as a single layer on top of a colorful manicure. It wore for about 4 days without chips for me.

Loved this color. I was worried that it would need myiple coats but after 2 I was good to go. It looks nice and I can't wait yo use it again. Next time on mu toes
Shining color that dries quickly and best application brush
I love the silver color and how shiny it is. The brush makes it easy to apply and it also dries quickly. Applying 2 layers to make it more chip resistant. Love it!
Iridescent
4 stars, pending a 5th depending on how it wears and lasts. This stuff is super cool! The combination with a pastel color, like the mint I'm wearing it with, makes my nails scream 90s iridescent style. It doesn't show up as silver at all, which was my worry. It's much more of a pearl look. I love it! I hope it lasts! It looks perfect with bright or pastel colors. I'm not sure how it would look with a darker color, but I'll definitely find out this winter!
