Surprisingly powerful & affordable toothbrush!

I was gifted this toothbrush for free as part of a product test but I actually love it & it has replaced my other two toothbrushes I own. I love the creamy white color I was sent & that it comes with a case & has rechargeable batteries - I hate having to change batteries all the time so I love that ...

Philips Removed USB-C Compatibility

You used to be able to charge this toothbrush by directly connecting it to a USBc cord. Philips has removed this and now all new ones require a proprietary charging cord. I'll be looking elsewhere for a new toothbrush.

I'm most impressed with battery life, which seems to be excellent. Also, I like the feel of the slim handle when brushing my teeth.

Case does not close - pops open. Poor design. And there's no brush head travel cap.

I love Philips sonicare power toothbrush. I started using my 14 years ago! My teeth had a lot of staining and tartar. I started using it and then at my next dental cleaning appointment appointment, by hygienist or so surprised that the majority of my staining was gone! My original sonicare power toothbrush just stopped cutting working after 14 years.

For the travel toothbrush, it is much more confortable when I use it, compared to the Sonic Care 4100. The vibration is milder and more tolerable to my teeth. I cannot use the second speed on the 4100. Even the first speed is tough on certain teeth that have bigger fillings. I will persit until my next dental appointment and see if the plaque is reduced. How effective is the travel toothbruh on plaque?

I love the slim handle and the battery life, but I absolutely hate the fact that it uses a different brush head from my previous Phillips model. None of my local stores carry the replacement heads. Please be warned, the cost of shipping exceeded the cost of the brushes.

I was quite happy with my toothbrush until it caught fire while recharging (I have pictures if anyone wants to verify my claim). I told my wife and children to discard them. I have no found a way to contact Phillips and share my concerns.

I really like this toothbrush. The size, design, and power level fits my needs. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it. This is my second Philips One and again it has stopped charging. The first toothbrush stopped working (wouldn't charge) within 6 months and the company kindly exchanged it for me. I have had this second one for just short of a year and I can no longer get it to charge. I will move on to the battery operated version and hope for better results.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I like the portability of the One by Sonicare. The bristles are soft but not too soft to get a good brushing. The carry case is an added benefit of the One by Sonicare Toothbrush.
