A call back to the classic Herbal Essences line

I received this #freeproduct from #topbox in exchange for my honest opinion. I have highlighted hair and they're very dry so I find that this shampoo helped my colour treated hair to become less dry and be more smooth.

I received this shampoo for free from TopBox Circle in exchange for my honest opinion. So for someone who has her hair colored (ash brown balayage on black) I can say that the shampoo protects my hair color, however I did see some of the color fade away after 3 weeks of using this shampoo. Unfortunately, it leaves my hair dry. A conditioner is always needed after this shampoo. Smells great. However, I find that if you get your hair colored at a salon then salon products are best to protect and maintain your hair color. So for that reason I wouldn't purchase it again.

I'm very happy I had an opportunity to try this shampoo. Drugstore product that doesn't have sulfates, parabens or dyes. Has very fine smell that doesn't overpower and linger for a long time, yet leaves hair smelling fresh. A little goes a long way - I used to much at the beginning and it took me forever to wash it off but in reality you need a small amount of shampoo to get a great foam and clean hean skin and hair. The shampoo is strong enough to get a good wash and gentle enough not to strip hair of natural oils. I would definitely recommend it to try.

I received this product free from Topbox Circle in exchange for my honest review. #freeproduct I'm in my early 50's and menopausal, experiencing thinning. I used to wash my hair everyday but due to the thinning and hair loss, I Wash every second to third day. Unfortunately, I have an oily scalp and dry ends. I also have long, colour-treated hair. I tried this shampoo 4 times over the course of a few weeks. A lot of shampoo was needed to obtain a lather. I did not care for the fragrance which smelled bitter. I rinsed a lot because my hair didn't feel clean and it felt weighty. When I finished rinsing and tried brushing it with a wet brush, it was very tangled and I ended up loosing a lot of hair between washing and brushing. Once dried, my hair was frizzy, weighed down and did not look or feel clean. This happened after each use. As to the protection of colour, even if it did, there were too many negatives for me to keep using. This shampoo was a definite failure for my hair.

Received this shampoo as a #freesample from #trywithtopbox. It has a nice, pleasant scent and is a no frills shampoo that cleans the hair well but nothing extraordinary. The bottle is a little small and I only got a few washes out it but that's my only real criticism.

A call back to the classic Herbal Essences line

This shampoo really reminded me of what Herbal Essences was all about at its initial release - classic, unfussy haircare built around herbal extracts and classic scents. Of course times have changed, so have my expectations. This is from their sulfate-free line, which means that it doesn't rely on sulfate-based "soaps" or cleansers to clean your hair. It also doesn't have any dyes or phthalates, but does boast aloe, grape seed, and camellia flower extracts. The scent is more on the fruitier end of the spectrum, but isn't overpowering and doesn't smell cheap. I did find that this didn't fade my colour as quickly as other drugstore-brand shampoos, keeping true to its colour-safe and colour nurturing claims. It's great to have an affordable shampoo option to use on my coloured hair that smells great, isn't filled with all the same harsh ingredients, and doesn't break the bank.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
