I am a hygienist who has been practicing for over 30 years. I have seen the results of brushes that are too hard resulting in extreme recession in many cases. This is the ONLY brush head I recommend as plaque is softer than grape jelly and doesn't require a stiff brush. My patients are now believers.... I would love to be able to tell them they can get it anywhere. We sell them in our office to make it convenient for them. Love this product!!!
I like and want Extra Soft bristles. (i'm here looking at the new pro gumcareit doesnt specify if normal soft or extra soft with the thinner bristles...) I think this one would be great IF it were modified to cup the tooth. The perfectly level surface does clean the most protruded areas of my tooth,... yet makes minimal contact with much of the area where plaque forms - at least without pressing hard to smush the center bristles off to the sides so the edges contact (instead of the usual "let the tool do the work" methodology.) i think i will try pro gumcare in the meanwhile, as i totally recomend the electric toothbrush in general.
I've been using OralB electric toothbrushes since I can remember. Love them! Since that time I've tried the iO series and the Pro1000. Not so much with these. I've found the pressure of these a little too intense and my gums actually hurt when using them; even with a gentle or sensitive brush. An important difference to me came up during my last dental visit. I've always used the sensitive gum toothbrushes and have never had any issues with my teeth. But this last time, the hygienist found hard plaque on them. She and the dentist thought that was a change and asked what I had been doing - mentioned I was using the newer iO OralB with the brush that came with it...the ultimate clean that has the longer bristles along with the regular sized ones. After analyzing how that brush landed on my teeth they said the brushes were splaying on my teeth and because the brush is larger it was not cleaning along the gums or in the pockets of the teeth. But the old brush I was using (the Sensitive Gum) was smaller and therefore hitting those areas better. Now I'm buying yet another OralB (the Pro500) so I can use the Sensitive Gum replacement brush again. Now, my dentist suggests using the OralB and offers them so he knows enough about the product.....Note: I was using the OralB long before he was a proponent. Since you can't send an email on comments about products to OralB or Proctor & Gamble, I decided to just write a review. I hope this may help others if they are having the same issue. And OralB/Proctor & Gamble....please continue to manufacture the Sensitive Gum Replacement brushes!
Product itself is fine but the only complaint I have is that the packaging is wasteful. The subscription is for 2 count and each head comes in its own individual pack, packaged inside a bigger pack. There is clearly room to fit two of the smaller packs in one of the bigger packs. Makes more plastic waste
So disappointing that I can't get this brush head in black to match my device. Especially since this is the one my dentist recommends for me. Why offer devices in different colors if you're unwilling to even offer brush heads to match?

oralb.ca/en-caThe bristles are soft enough for sensitive gums and strong enough to do a thorough job cleaning my teeth. The replacement heads make for a very pleasurable brushing experience.

oralb.ca/en-caSince I did not receive the refills I will review the brush head that came with the brush initially. Nice full head, smooth bristles that are easy on the gums but tough on the cleaning. Easy to take off for replacement or cleaning.

oralb.ca/en-caIt's great how I can easily swap the heads whenever it's time for a replacement instead of replacing the entire toothbrush. Great for the environment! They last much longer than my usual cheap manual brushes too so even though it costs more upfront, the results are much better and much longer lasting in the long run!

oralb.ca/en-caNo complaints here for the refill. Easy to attach to the toothbrush and operate. Was gentle on my teeth and gums which I really liked, but still also worked to clean my teeth. Overall, toothbrush is very easy to charge and use, and feels like its cleaning my teeth better than a manual toothbrush. Thank you Topbox #freeproduct.

oralb.ca/en-caThis power toothbrush head cleans well without irritating my gums. What more can I ask for?! The round head is perfect for getting teeth clean and feeling like you just came from the dentist (without the cost). I didn't find a huge difference between the sensitive brush and my other non-sensitive Oral B brush, but I think that this is a perfect product for anyone new to power toothbrushes and getting used to technique and pressure compared to using a manual brush. In the month that I tested out the brush I found that it held up well and the bristles didn't fray.
